Never visit Sagar ratna on Saturday/Sunday. It's my second time on weekend where I faced very bad experiences. When you try to visit on weekend , they serve low quality of dosa with spicy chutneys and Sambhars too. I dont know, might be they have intentions if a customer dont ask for refilling Sambhar and chutney. You may also experience decrease in size of dosa and its filling too. And the tastes vary accordingly. Also if you request "head server " to serve good quality of dosa while ordering ; they reply like "aisa hi hota hai ". We went on the new year day and we didn't get proper service. The staff was not listening to us. And we had to ask them to give us water and the menu. Like we sat for around 25 min and still no one came to take our order. And when we finally said to the manager, sk he took our order after 25 min literally. Their service was best at the starting and now because of it's popularity, it's not upto the mark. Worst experience, not wanted to give even a 1.

My first experience and one of the best. HOST has three different services on different floors, we took our dinner in Sagar Ratna. First thing to mention is their mesmerising decoration, with different lightings as per the season and locale inside. If you chose a corner spot then you can enjoy a low light candle light kindof dinner. The food they serve is mouth watering. You can find varities of food ranging from starters to full course meals.
