The restaurant is not ready to serve water. We asked for water and they said that they can give us water in bisleri bottle only. They refused to serve us normal water. How can a restaurant refuse to serve normal water to a customer. If it is self service they should have a water cooler available, from customer can take a glass and drink water.

Having lived all over the world and all the metropolitan cities in India for past 25 years, i have never come across this quality of hospitality which is probably unique to you. As per your claim below, we requested for water. The staff said they can only offer water to us if we buy bisleri water bottle. Not wanting to drink water from plastic bottle, we said no to buying the bottle. Staff said they cannot offer us water in a glass.

Please check if you do understand hospitality and if your staff follows it as well.

In our culture water is offered to anyone who visits our house, even if they come for few minutes. I am yet to understand if hospitality has reduced to this, refuse to give water when in summer a person requests for it. You have to buy a water bottle else we cannot offer you water.

Just for clarification we never asked your staff to serve us water. We went to the counter and requested for a glass of water.
