House of Migo — Restaurant in Uttar Pradesh

Kids discovered this place through word of month from their friends and the restaurants #instagram feeds. We wanted a late Sunday Brunch and since this was close by reached there in the afternoon.

Kids ordered pan cakes and although it was in their morning breakfast menu the server obliged. I ordered a coffee and chicken croissant along with some bread omelette. The coffee was just ok // server was unsure if it was medium roast or not // later confirmed.

The chicken croissant was a croissant sandwich but was really delicious. I was hungry too so finished it off quickly. Was a bit disappointed when the server told me that the breakfast menu is not an all day breakfast so no eggs.

The kids loved their pancakes, was well preeented too. Although one of the two plates slipped a bit.

Wife ordered some broccoli herb rice after a long celebration since the menu was quite wide // but she prefers vegetarian meals. This was served in a creamy sauce which she loved too.

Overall the staff was courteous and polite. Smiling too :)

We have been coming here again and again both for dinner and brunch and the place never disappoints us. They have a newly curated menu as well with larger portions in some of the dishes the kids ordered. However the portion size of the sautéd vegetables in Grilled Tofu Steak seemed small. The mashed potato is quite awesome and just perfect. It was quite delicious too and I ended up cleaning the plate empty :)

I went to ‘house of migo’ the other day and ordered cucumber mint juice… maybe I was expecting something else, but I didn’t like it and they somehow found out through my weird reaction… so the man at the service came to me immediately and asked me to change the drink, which I was told later that this is the detox drink and has absolutely no taste, just the benefits. 🤪

Do I need to say anything else about the customer satisfaction thing? 🫶🏻

About the taste… All their pastas are homemade and even have artisanal pastas. I have ordered fettuccini pasta in tomato sauce and trust me, by far it is the best pasta I’ve had. Do try their pastas on my recommendation :)

About the ambience, the place has got very subtle French decor. Large sitting space and huge top to bottom glasses giving that give a nice airy feel. Not to forget, it gives the best sunset view 🌼

Cherry on the top - Got to meet Saurabh Aggarwal, the owner, and his mother, such down to earth people. They shared some interesting stories behind the foundation of this cafe, its name and about the food preparation.

All in all… this place is not like your regular cafés. Do try this place and you can always THANK me...
