During my recent visit to Allahabad, I had the chance to dine at this lovely restaurant for dinner, and it turned out to be a great experience. We tried their dosa along with a few other South Indian and North Indian items, and everything we ordered was fresh, delicious, and nicely presented.
The dosa was particularly good โ crisp, perfectly cooked, and served with flavorful chutneys and sambar. The other dishes we tried were equally satisfying, with the right balance of taste and spice. Itโs clear that they focus on maintaining good quality in their food.
One thing I really appreciated about this place was its peaceful and quiet atmosphere. Unlike many crowded restaurants, this one allowed us to have relaxed conversations and enjoy our meal without any rush or noise. Itโs a great spot if youโre looking for a calm dining experience in the city.
The staff was polite and attentive, and the service was smooth and timely. They made sure we were comfortable throughout and were happy to recommend their popular items when we asked.
Overall, this restaurant is definitely a good option in Allahabad if youโre looking to enjoy tasty food in a pleasant and quiet setting. Whether youโre in the mood for a quick dosa or a proper dinner, this place wonโt disappoint. I would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the city. Looking forward to going back and trying more from their...
ย ย ย Read morerecently visited this dosa restaurant and I must say, it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The first thing that impressed me was the aroma of fresh dosa being preparedโyou can actually smell the butter and spices as soon as you enter, which already makes you hungry. The menu has a good variety of options including masala dosa, butter dosa, paneer dosa, cheese dosa, and even some fusion styles. I tried the classic masala dosa along with a butter dosa, and both were absolutely delicious. The dosa was crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside, and the potato filling was perfectly spiced.
The chutneys were fresh and flavorful, especially the coconut chutney which had that authentic South Indian taste. The sambar was rich, slightly tangy, and served hot, making the whole experience even better. Another good thing here is the quick serviceโthe staff was polite and made sure the food arrived within a few minutes even though the place was crowded.
The restaurant is simple, clean, and family-friendly. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality and quantity of food. Whether you are going for breakfast, a light evening meal, or even a family outing, this is a great spot in Prayagraj. If you are a dosa lover, you should definitely try this place at least onceโyou wonโt be...
ย ย ย Read moreI have been eating dosa at this shop since 2011 when one dosa was worth โน45. And hands down they serve the best sambhar in Prayagraj. Desi ghee is there in the dosa as well as sambhar. Coconut chutney is also very nice. I don't like the other chutney they serve, the red one.
Recently due to action by municipality, they had to vacate their original place of service. Now they are located nearby in the basement of Maharami Zaika. So from roadside eatry to a classy restaurant. The price has changed i.e. โน105 for 1 Masala dosa., โน130 for paneer onion dosa and โน50 for 1 Dahi bada. A year ago i felt that they have degraded the quality of their sambhar. But today i ate there. And it was awesome. Maybe they are trying to win the customers since they have shifted to a new location.
Edit on 17 March 2019: today i ate here again. And i felt that the quality of their sambhar has again gone down. It was not worth the price anymore. I maybe harsh but it...
