Tucked away in the spiritual haven of Vrindavan, just a few steps from the iconic ISKCON Temple, Murliwala Hotel & Restaurant is nothing short of a vegetarian paradise. As a food blogger who lives to explore local gems, I can confidently say this place delivers more than just a meal — it serves an experience steeped in tradition, purity, and flavor.
The menu is an ode to satvik cuisine — everything is prepared without onion and garlic, yet the dishes are so flavorful you won’t even notice their absence. Start your culinary journey with their crisp Masala Dosa, accompanied by sambar that’s spiced just right, and coconut chutney that’s as smooth as silk. Their Idli Sambar combo is light, fluffy, and the perfect breakfast pick-me-up.
For the North Indian soul food lovers, the Special Raj Kachori is a must — an explosion of crunch, tang, and spice in every bite. And if you’re visiting in winter, don’t miss the seasonal Makke Di Roti with Sarso Da Saag — warm, hearty, and comforting, like a hug on a plate.
Murliwala also surprises with fusion twists — the Paneer Tikka Grilled Sandwich is a delightful blend of smokiness and spice, and yes, still onion-garlic free! Pair it with their Royal Mocktail or a classic sweet lassi for that perfect balance.
No meal here is complete without a visit to their dessert counter. The Kaju Katli, Milk Cake, and Besan Laddoo are made fresh and will absolutely melt in your mouth. Sweet, soulful, and satisfying.
The ambiance? Clean, serene, and family-friendly — just what you’d hope for in a devotional town. Murliwala isn’t just a restaurant, it’s where food meets faith.

Read moreIf I had the option to rate it less than 1 I would have loved to rate you guys. Pathetic service, worst quality food, arrogant waiters and manager. I visited the restaurant on 24th May 2025 around 10:45 pm after a long and tiring journey thought this place is good to eat with family. But, they disappointed me in every single way. We waited in the restaurant so that they can clean the previous mess and uneaten food of previous customers. I didn’t thought it was a sign to leave the place immediately. When we ordered, they simply said only dal rice chapati was available. (I think most people order thali here.) Still got the courage to order a la carte and got the worst food of my life. Thread was found in chapati, Paneer Sabji was below average (no spices, no masala, undercooked) Cutlery was not provided they gave us disposals bowl and glass (haha such a big restaurant serving disposals) When asked for water they instantly gave 50Rs Bisleri (20Rs bottle was not available, they are just tying to loot us) When I declined Bisleri and asked for RO water it was bit served till 15mins No salt, tissues available on the table (had to ask more then 5 times for both) After all this they were bit ready to let me talk with the restaurant owner and a bullshit manager with rude tone simply denied everything This place is a mess…. Don’t...
Read moreI went there with my family, this place will disappoint you in every way possible. Firstly, the staff is so rude and no sense of respect for customers , the mismanagement will make you so angry that you would want to leave but still we showed patience. Secondly, the food was pathetic and with no taste, we ordered veg noodles, masala dosa cheesy fries and kulfi . The dosa has vey less and tasteless masala , the noodles used were thupa if you would know it is the cheapest quality of noodles and at last the cheesy fries were cold.We said the order guy to give us the kulfi first as my mom was on fast , they gave that at last. The fun part was no one says anything to management when I said this all to management many other people and gave same comments. Not the place to hangout at all. I hope you save your money, I forget to mention one thing rates were...
