Richi Rich Restaurant — Restaurant in Uttar Pradesh

On 14 October 2025 I with my brother went there to snack upon Rawa masala dosa. I had been there earlier too and preferred it's dish over other dosas in the area. But this time things went wild when a long hair strand popped out in my plate within the dosa. It was the end of Richi Rich fandom. Upon complaining the waiter offfered to get it replaced but we refused since it was already 10 pm and waiting would have required another 15-20 minutes. Things took an ugly turn when the manager refused to hear us face to face, he got his staff to convey us that he is busy and would not be able to come. But we despite being short of time insisted on him appearing personally. He came after 20 minutes and very casually exclaimed that it was an human error and he cannot do anything other than replacing it with a fresh one. There was no expression of acceptance of this unhygienic mistake on his face. This further annoyed us. We just left and would make sure no one from our family goes there ever again.

Although I accept the fact that a human error could occur anywhere but in this business of catering and restaurants this should be zero, and in rare case if it did occur atleast the management should not try to downplay it.

Whenever you are entering any restaurant I think the first thing everyone expects that is the atmosphere should be welcoming but what I observed there none of any staff or owner/manager on the counter having manner to talk to the customers they all are frustrated due to whatever the reason I don't know, even nobody has a little smile on their face. One old man on the counter either he is owner or manager I don't know but he is so much rude he don't know the manner how to talk to the customers, they are putting a poster outside for Veg buffet that's why I entered bcoz I loved this buffet system specially in BBQ Nation BTW coming to this restaurant, I asked for this buffet then one of the staff is telling sir you can order from the normal menu and giving very silly reason for non availability of buffet then I asked the manager for the same then he is ready to serve but with his off face 😈, after 15 mins one veteran couple came into the restaurant and sat next to my table they are waiting for half an hour and no any waiter came to ask them what they will have, at last the old lady asked manager, 'BHAIYA YE KYA H HUMLOG ADHE GHANTE SE BAITHE HAIN KOI WAITER NAHI AARHA PUCHNE' there after they responded to them. These people are fooling the humble customers, one thing I learnt from this experience don't judge the restaurant after seeing their ambiance. Family restaurant in sector-k aliganj.situated near purania chauraha aliganj.Have been seeing this place since apst over 10-15 yrs... But got to visit a while back. It also has decent buffet menu and ala-cart service. Not very pricey. It's one of great places for small parties. Has two banquets on first and second floor seperated from the restaurant on ground floor. Highly recommended for vegetarians. richi rich have come up as Lucknow's first pure vegetarian buffet at very economical prices and they are serving a pretty good huge menu in veg. Also, the food quality is real yum!
