I had heard a lot about Rohit Chaat, so I went there for the first time today and ordered chaat papdi and tikki. As soon as they served me the food, I noticed an insect in it — and shockingly, they had literally fried that insect and served it on the chaat papdi. This was my first experience, and as they say, first impression is the last impression. This is not just poor hygiene, it’s a serious health hazard. I have clicked a photo as proof and I will escalate this matter to FSSAI and the local food inspector. Food safety cannot be taken lightly.

Used to be a perfect place to have chaat and especially its golgappe were amazing. Now quality is down, price and attitude is up. Not worth it any more.

Now you have to wait at peak time because of coaching students flocking here after class; breathe polluted dust at the busy intersection of Kanpur and Vip Road and then have something that most probably you could safely have at some neighbourhood shop or thela at half the price.

P.S. The other two 5 stars review are most probably accounts...
