Absolutely Disastrous Dining Experience - Urgent Attention Needed!

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent dining experience at your restaurant. My family and I visited on eve of Holi, and the service and food quality were shockingly poor. Your waiter was inattentive and unresponsive, requiring us to repeatedly request basic services like serving the food and cutlery. We had to ask for it multiple times, which is simply unacceptable.

Our primary concern was the spice level of the food, as we were dining with four young children. We explicitly instructed the waiter to ensure that all dishes were mild. He assured us that this would be taken care of. However, every dish we ordered arrived excessively spicy. Specifically, the vegetarian platter was a complete failure. The chaap was overcooked and unbearably spicy, and the paneer tikka was also far too hot for our children. We then ordered pasta, again emphasizing the need for a mild preparation. Despite our clear instructions, the pasta arrived loaded with black pepper and was also undercooked. The steamed dim sum was served cold. When we requested that it be reheated, the waiter refused, claiming it would burst. This is a ridiculous excuse for serving cold food. The only redeeming factor of the entire meal was the tomato soup, which was decent. Furthermore, we requested regular water, but were denied and instead provided with bottled Kinley water. To our utter disbelief, we were charged 98 rupees for two bottles of water that had an MRP of 20 rupees each. This blatant overcharging is outrageous and unacceptable. (Screenshot of bill attached).

I have also attached a screenshot of the feedback form I completed, but I wanted to ensure that my concerns reached the restaurant owner directly. While the ambience of your restaurant might be appealing, the food and service are far below standard and grossly overpriced.

I strongly advise anyone considering dining at your establishment to reconsider if they value quality food and attentive service.

Staff Behaviour (Balvinder Singh - Operational Manager) - Was not good at all. After complete week of working my team went for dinner (7:30 PM IST) after our one of successful project delivery. We went there for roof top experience so Mr. Balvinder Singh come to us and mentioned this area is booked please use different place and we don’t allow hard drinks too.

I told him that this is not first time I am here. Then my team decided to sit somewhere else and we ordered food and done with the dinner around 9:30 (Food was good)

I saw there are few people with hard drink then I called Mr. Balvinder singh that you were saying this is restricted but see there (because team member was like why he denied to us) He was not have any answer so he replied to me We allowed only for Family.

I said these are four guys and what are you talking about and he started arguing then I asked his name and told him okay no problem.

I have written this because we are doing hoteling for spend good time with Friends/Family/teammates and if Mr. Balvender singh will judge and argue with the people so please I don’t recommend.

Woodhouse grill cafe welcomes you with eye pleasing greenery and as you enter the small bush gate, the interiors surprise you. Very well planned seating and beautiful layout (picture enclosed). Staff is very courteous, promptly attended and made us comfortable. It was Sunday lunch and there was not much rush. About the food - tried Spaghetti in mixed sauce and Crostini both were more or less good. However, there is scope of improvement. (Like the cheese of Crostini didn't melt. It would have been great if these small improvements are made in the preparation). The Pineapple mojito too was palatable. In dessert we tried Brownie with ice cream.
