I recently had the pleasure of dining at Zafraan restaurant, and I must say it was a delightful experience. From the ambiance to the food, everything was exceptional, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fine dining experience.
Firstly, the ambiance of the restaurant was perfect. The lighting was just right, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the decor was elegant and sophisticated. The comfortable seating added to the overall experience, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal with friends or family.
The service was also top-notch, with the staff being attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and was happy to answer any questions we had. The staff also made sure that our glasses were always full, and the dishes were brought out at the right time.
Now, let's talk about the food. The menu was diverse, offering a range of dishes from different cuisines. We started with the mezze platter, which was a perfect combination of hummus, baba ganoush, and tabbouleh. The flavors were perfectly balanced and tasted fresh.
For the main course, I ordered the lamb shank, which was cooked to perfection. The meat was so tender that it fell off the bone, and the sauce was rich and flavorful. My friend ordered the seafood paella, which was equally impressive. The seafood was fresh, and the rice was cooked perfectly, making it a delicious and satisfying dish.
Lastly, the dessert was the perfect end to our meal. We ordered the baklava and the chocolate mousse, both of which were heavenly. The baklava was crispy and had just the right amount of sweetness, while the chocolate mousse was rich and decadent.
Overall, I would highly recommend Zafraan restaurant to anyone looking for a fine dining experience. The ambiance, service, and food were exceptional, making it a memorable experience that I would love to repeat...
Read moreWe ordered a biryani (for more than 25 people). They took the order for 3800/- and assured that it will be of good quality. The biryani we received was ridiculous, more like boiled chicken pieces in a thehri. The rice was not basmati, rather they used Golden (cheap quality). I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT TO ORDER FROM ZAFRAN. They are pathetic and the chef is ridiculously unskilled. Doesn't know a bit about preparing biryani. This is going on Zafran's social media pages as well to ensure more and more people stay away from this expensive and disgusting-quality Zafran restaurant.
Edit 1 Response to the owner's review. First of all, the order wasn't for 36 pax. Second, the issue isn't relevant to the price (which is already overpriced as written by other users as well). I am not concerned about the technicality about the type, Sehla rice or whatever, just own the fact that you didn't provide the quality that your so-called 12 year old restaurant is famous for. As a consumer, if I am not satisfied, I can write the review wherever I want. If you have a problem, go improve your service, quality, and learn some customer relationship...
Read moreNice food, hygienic place, ok service BUT there is a loop hole....
Insect killing racket was being used, brooming was on for clearing the floor and table from insects (flies and mosquitoes) and spray for pleasent aroma was also being pressed alongside the tables while we (family) and two girls on nearby table were enjoying our food. This act was a little irritating but we passed it on without any reaction we ate, pay the bill and moved on. Over all, if the restaurant care some, it will be a nice place to dinning out in the town. I hope that the restaurant will think about it and take initiatives for required improvements. Understand what to do...
