Auli Cafe — Restaurant in Uttarakhand

I recently placed an online pizza order from Auli Cafe in Kanatal. The menu clearly showed the pizza price as ₹379. However, when I went to pick up the order, they charged me ₹399 + taxes.

When I pointed out the discrepancy, they responded by saying, “This is the price on our restaurant menu.” I explained that I had ordered online where the price was mentioned as ₹379, and I had not placed the order after physically coming to the restaurant. Still, they insisted.

It’s not about ₹40–₹50 extra — I have no problem paying ₹399 if that’s the correct price. The issue is the misleading pricing, which creates confusion and feels unfair to the guest. Transparency in pricing is basic customer service, and if you show one price online, guests expect that to be honored.

Businesses, especially in hospitality, should value trust and consistency. Misleading customers over small amounts reflects poorly on the overall experience. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and corrects such practices...

They open up by 8:30am so if you want to grab a quick breakfast, you can definitely come here. They have parathas, bread butter and omelette.
