I'd like to provide some constructive feedback based on my experiences at Bikanervala in Dehradun. While I appreciate the convenience and reputation of the establishment, I must say that I found certain aspects of my visits disappointing.
Firstly, I believe there is room for improvement in the food quality. On multiple occasions, I noticed what appeared to be a lower standard in comparison to my expectations from Bikanervala. Specifically, there seemed to be issues with the quality of oil used in some of the dishes, which affected the overall taste and appeal.
It's important to note that Dehradun offers a variety of dining options, many of which provide high-quality food and snacks at more competitive prices. This can make the contrast with Bikanervala quite noticeable in terms of both taste and value for money.
I offer this feedback constructively, with the hope that Bikanervala can maintain its reputation as a top choice for dining in Dehradun by addressing these concerns. Consistency in food quality is key, and ensuring that customers consistently enjoy their dining experiences is vital in such a...
Read moreBikaner is a well known brand in Food business. The furniture, washroom are well maintained as far as cleanliness is concerned. Like all Bikaner restaurants, this one is self service styled. The idea of self service is good, until you frequently find missing napkins on tables and tissue paper in washrooms. The food is okay-ish, not something to drool over but it isn't bad either. It's all veg, if you didn't know already. The food quantity has reduced drastically per serving.(😠) And since self service is their motto, the customer service satisfaction takes a rather rear seat in the long list of their priorities.
Will I recommend it to people? Answer is a simple No. Because, there has been an outburst of new eateries and restaurants which have opened in Dehradun, in proximity to each other, which are much better than this for the price you pay here. Probably the staff/manager aren't bothered with what customer satisfaction is anymore. 3 stars is just for the hygiene they maintain, or may be it is...
Read moreI was really excited to visit Bikanervala after hearing about their robot serving food, but unfortunately, when I went today, the robot was out of service and just standing on the side. No big deal, I thought, so I went ahead and placed my order. I chose the Chole Bhature and Chole Samosa, but the experience wasn't as great as I expected.
First off, the prices were quite steep compared to other places I’ve been to. After waiting for about 15-20 minutes, they brought me the wrong order. Once I finally got my meal, the food was just okay. The Chole Bhature was a bit underwhelming, and the Chole Samosa was decent, but nothing special.
One positive I can say is that the food wasn’t greasy; it had very little oil, which I appreciated. But overall, the taste, price, and ambience didn’t impress me enough to recommend this place over other local options. There are definitely better places for both the taste and value. Wouldn’t be...
