Tucked away in the charming hills of Landour, Emily’s is everything you’d hope for in a great restaurant—and more. It’s not just a place to eat, it’s a place to indulge, unwind, and truly enjoy every bite.

From the very first visit, the service stands out. Don’t like what you ordered? They’ll happily replace it. Want something tweaked—less spice, more flavor, a whole new take on the same dish? Consider it done. It’s rare to find that kind of flexibility and genuine care anymore, but at Emily’s, it’s the norm.

Yes, it’s a bit on the pricier side—but when the food is this good, you won’t mind. We've worked our way through almost the entire menu—from local Pahadi specialties and comforting Continental classics to flavorful Tibetan dishes and well-balanced Chinese options. Everything is consistently excellent. And the desserts? Absolutely unforgettable. U have to try their sticky pudding and their freshly baked cookies with icecream .

This is my second year in a row coming back, and after tasting my way around Mussoorie, Emily’s has become my go-to for both lunch and dinner. It just feels right.

A BEAUTIFULLY MAINTAINED OLD BRITISH BUNGALOW FROM 1840, OLD WORLD CHARM IS JUST A MILD TERM TO DESCRIBE THE AMBIENCE, HOSPITALITY, WARMTH AND FRIENDLINESS OF THE STAFF AT ROCKEBY. FROM THE MANAGER AND THE RECEPTION AND STAFF MANNING ..... EMILY'S .... THEIR COSY , ENGLISH TEA ROOM FEEL, WITH AN ADDED OPEN BALCONY DINING AREA OVERLOOKING BEAUTIFUL TREES GROWING TALL FROM THE VALLEY BELOW. IT'S JUST TOO BEAUTIFUL. THE STAFF AT EMILY'S S MANAGE IT VERY WELL AT THE HELM BEING CHEF MAHESH AND VIKRAM , RAJU , PAWAN AND POONAM AND THE OTHER STAFF MEMBERS, ALL VERY COMPETENT AND FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. WHEN A GUEST IS TREATED WITH LOVE AND RESPECT NOT TO FORGET THE DELICIOUS FARE THOUGHT UP BY CHEF MAHESH AND SERVED UP , IT'S ENOUGH FOR A GUEST TO LEAVE SATIATED, REPLETE AND HAPPY.
