Kairos CafĂ© has an interesting and unique menu, and we were quite amused to see Naga Thali being served here. Our order arrived on time, which was appreciated, but unfortunately, the taste didnât fully meet our expectations.
The Chicken Bamboo Shoot Thali was a bit of a letdown. We expected the staff to ask whether we preferred the chicken with or without skin, but instead, it was served with the skin by default. A small detail, but one that would have improved the experience.
The cafĂ©âs specialty, Kairos Fried Chicken, was another disappointment. It had an odd smell from the insideâone that reminded us of chicken kept refrigerated for too long. It took away from what could have been an enjoyable dish.

   Read moreI was a long-time regular customer at this bistro. I have three main recommendations: Buff Chili Meal, Fried Ramen, and Veg. Gimbap. The recommendations are with a caveat though: the buff can be inconsistent in its texture, sometimes chewy, sometimes excellent; the veg gimbap is delicious when they use the right kind of rice. The Naga dishes need improvement. Their managers have changed frequently, but they have all been super friendly, warm, and welcoming. However, the working staff could smile more and be friendlier.    Read moreThis is a nice clean restaurant. Very cosy. The cost of food is very reasonable. The portions are plenty. The thali is ok to share between two people if you buy an additional rice.
Clean washrooms. And the music is great.
Food was flavourful. I tried the Naga smoked pork. It was good but didnât jump out as a full Naga flavours of the northeast.
We had boiled beans and carrots. Mussoorie has lots of green leafy vegs, maybe a small portion of broiled mustard leaf would enhance it further.
