I go to L’Opéra quite regularly and really enjoy it but the last time I went I was shocked at the quality. The French Heart I originally ordered didn’t look right so I returned it and got macrons and a different pastry instead. The taste was different and the standard wasn’t what it used to be. On asking the lady behind the counter why certain items were available or why the French heart was different, she said the chef has changed and doesn’t know how to bake the product properly yet.
