ORCHARD EC ROAD — Restaurant in Uttarakhand

Another branch of the famous The Orchard Restaurant of the Dehradun. We liked the proximity of the place, in the heart of the city unlike the original which is quite far away at Rajpur, though it was quite lesser in comparison to the original one. I had a family dinner there and we thoroughly enjoyed the live music, the artist was brilliant and played soothing classical Bollywood melodies. I had great expectations for the restaurant because the place is Orchard, however the food quality and flavor are nowhere like those on Rajpur Road. The veg kothe momos were just ordinary and pricey for the flavor. Avoid ordering pasta because the pasta (mixed sauce) was quite bland and disappointing. We only got enjoyable coffee there; even their chai was disappointing. Bakery stuff is likewise extremely ordinary. They have an open sitting area upstairs, but it is useless because there are no heaters or fire...

I’m so happy that Orchard has opened its new branch at this location. I had a bad throat and asked for room temperature mint mojito and the staff made it as per my preference.
