Read moreVery disappointed to see the rude behavior of counter staff, waiters as well as service quality & the food that was served. My wife & Bhabhi ji had already checked in and I joined them after few minutes. I wanted to place order via waiters but they forced me to go back to the counter beforehand for token. The aged person at the counter was arguing that it’s the part of system for many yeas to pay in advance whereas during month of March 2025 itself, I had visited this restaurant and at that time orders were placed via waters, payments were done at the counter post eating it. Payment counter was being managed by a lady.
Nevertheless, worst part is the quality of food. I paid ₹120/- in advance for a pair of sambhar bada. Stale sambhar bada was delivered soon with one piece of bada slight wet with sambhar whereas other piece was kept dry at the corner of plate. There was hardly 3-4 gram of so called chatni with a pair of bada. I fail to understand how the administration of this useless restaurant thinks that their customers will be able to eat badas without mixing it properly with sambhar and without chatni. We people at villages of Uttarakhand when we serve “गाजियो” ie totally dry grass to the cows & buffalos, we sprinkle some water mixed with salt over it so that animals can eat it comfortably. This useless Meghan Restaurant treated me worst than animals by not providing sambhar, chatni but dry badas.
If you are reading it, please note carefully that you need to answer to the Almighty once you die. Why don’t you earn some good karma? Why don’t you fear from the God?
General public: please do not visit the restaurant anymore as same is being mismanaged by the bunch of jokers with no regard to the customers. Better to eat something at the roadside vendors than visiting this dump place who play a loud music wherein no phone rings can be heard, no conversation is possible, where it’s simply wastage of money.
If you don’t trust my words, visit at your own risk, waste your money on useless services and then share your...
Read moreI recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Meghna Sweets and Restaurant, and I feel compelled to share my experience to help others avoid the same fate. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that the staff had no idea what they were doing. The tables emitted a foul odor reminiscent of a toilet, which was incredibly off-putting.
We ordered both chicken and non-veg soups, but the waiter brought us veg soup instead, insisting it was chicken soup. To make matters worse, the table we were seated at had not been cleaned properly, with dirty dishes from the previous diners still present. When we asked the waiter to clean the table, he did so but then proceeded to serve us with the same unwashed hands. This lack of basic hygiene was alarming.
The soups themselves were indistinguishable in taste, both lacking any flavor or distinction. We then ordered chicken kadai, which turned out to be completely tasteless, and a mix veg dish that was so poorly prepared it was unrecognizable. The final straw was the sweets we ordered, which were clearly stale.
Despite placing our order well in advance, it took over an hour for our food to arrive, and when it did, it was of such poor quality that it was hardly worth the wait. This was one of the most horrible dining experiences I have ever had, and I usually refrain from writing negative reviews, but this time it was unavoidable.
I strongly advise against visiting Meghna Sweets and Restaurant, whether alone or with family. The combination of poor service, lack of cleanliness, and subpar food makes it a place to avoid at all costs. Save yourself the trouble and find a better dining...
