The Den A Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Uttarakhand

This the most expensive and the worst restaurant of city Pithoragarh. I went with my friends and the experience was horrible. We took a corner side table and as we sit we found that the furniture was very uncomfortable. Well we were waiting for one of our friend and without asking they served us packaged water. When we asked for normal RO water, they said they don't have any RO system installed. Over this one of my friend asked, so it means you cook everything in dirty supply water (In Pithoragarh we don't have clean water supply, as we are locals so we know how it is), asking this there was no reply. By rules it is mandatory to have an RO system installed in your restaurant. After few minutes we ordered soups, which were horrible in taste. In starters we ordered chilli paneer and paneer tikka, in which chilli paneer was cooked in ready mix powder available in shops. We hoped that at least in main course they will have something good, but everything from normal dal fry to mix veg and kadai chicken ...were waste of resources and money both. We asked for two full plate rice, and when we saw the quantity, it was almost a quarter to what we get in general. Roties were okey. One of my friend asked for a cold drink and we got to know that servings were on per glass basis (60 Rs/ glass), when we asked for a full bottle, they said it is not allowed (all money making gimmick). Frustrated from a distasteful food, we asked for bill, and for 4 people it came Rs. 1800. Well we paid, with a clarity in mind that we won't come back. At the end the only thing we liked after paying 1800 Rs was coated fennel as mouth fresher. In our city we don't have very good restaurants but at least every restaurant has something good to eat. Unfortunately this particular restaurant, don't have a single good food item to eat and moreover they use all marketing tactics to take out extra money from you, like they will force you to drink package water (which is bad for environment too), serve cold drink on per glass basis, and wont allow you to get the full bottle. I won't recommend this restaurant to anybody who is in this city and also not to anybody who is visiting here. NO good food, no value for money and not at all...

O my god...where do I start This is the worst,most overpriced restaurant in PITHORAGARH First of allll....They will force u to get things u don't even want by being very sweet(honey trap) They provide distilled water via default at a high price Salad puny lil salad ..that costs nothing at chowmein centres here will cost u a whopping Rs 60 The quality is food leaves a lot to be desired for...it's not good at all They won't even give u Naan during day time and will force u to eat parathas instead

And o my goodness mee.....the star of the show

They will force u buy cold drink They won't give u the bottle Instead u will be getting it in glasses....and 1 small glass with a stupid metal straw will cost u a whopping Rs 60.....

My friend had tears in his eyes seeing the bill.... SAVINGS ARE THE EARNINGS OF THE FUTURE AND DEN RESTAURANT IS A BLOODSUCKING MONSTER WHO WILL TAKE IT ALL AWAY

The food was good and tasty. People were very friendly and have a good behaviour towards the coustomer.

The ambiance was decent and nice .

They have a good variety in veg options. Nonveg cannot be questioned because haven't tasted that yet but surely believing that it will be tasty too.

Cleaness was up to the mark you can even take pets too but your pet should be silent and quiet.

Even a party of 50-100 person can be held over here they complete the party very smoothly and the party food is also very tasty.

The decoration done in the party is mind blowing. Literally the decoration is up to the mark.

I have been there very frequently and I am a regular coustomer they serve well always good..

If I have written this much long review then you can guess how much tasty...
