Romeo Lane, Dehradun: A Mixed Bag of Ambiance and Experience
Romeo Lane in Dehradun, located on Rajpur Road, certainly paints an appealing picture from the outset. With its promise of lovely ambient open space, good music from a DJ, and the convenience of valet parking, it aims to deliver a top-tier dining and social experience.
The restaurant truly excels in creating an attractive environment. The open layout and tasteful decor, often highlighted in social media, contribute to a vibrant yet relaxed vibe, perfect for unwinding. The presence of a DJ curates a musical backdrop that enhances the overall atmosphere, making it a lively spot for a night out.
However, while the ambiance and music are definite draws, reviews regarding the core experience – the scrumptious food and good service – appear to be more mixed.

Read moreI visited this place today afternoon with my family on our way to Mussoorie, hoping to enjoy a nice lunch based on the positive things we had heard. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing right from the entry gate.
The girl at the entrance was extremely rude and unwelcoming. She didn’t acknowledge our presence and remained engrossed in her laptop, completely ignoring us. It’s basic courtesy to greet and assist customers when they arrive, but that was completely missing here.
To make matters worse, she abruptly told me not to wear slippers if I visit next time. The way she said it was not only rude but also disrespectful. If there’s a dress code, it should be clearly displayed at the entrance—not communicated in such an impolite manner.
Our visit was meant to be a relaxing family outing, but this encounter left a sour impression. Sadly, the poor experience didn’t end there—the food was also below average, yet we were charged around ₹6,000. For that price, we expected far better service and quality.
It honestly felt like the place is designed to exploit tourists rather than provide a pleasant dining experience. I would strongly recommend avoiding...
Read moreWorst restaurant in dehradun. Service is completely pathetic. We were a group of 4 persons sitting on the rooftop and ordered food. As the waiter served our food on table it started raining at the same time l and we requested him to shift all our food inside. I even carried a pizza and drinks by myself and went inside the indoor area and the waiter did not even shifted or helped to shift our food and instead started to collect the seats and other items leaving our food to get wet in the rain. Later on he served us the same wet food items which were not even in any condition to eat. When we complaint about this they said it was an act of God and nothing will be done. I totally understand that it started raining but in this case waiter also knew that it started raining before the food reached out table and he left our food in rain as there priority was just to move there decor items inside. We paid 5k for nothing. Never seen such arrogant staff, food was so bad, I am never going there again. Worst worst worst restaurant in dehradun. Money minded people just running a franchise of the brand and using its name for cheap marketing...
