A Tranquil Escape with Exceptional Cuisine: Walk in Woods Restaurant

If you’re looking for a dining experience that combines breathtaking nature with top-tier food, Walk in Woods Restaurant is an absolute must-visit. Nestled in a serene wooded area, this charming spot offers not only a delicious meal but also a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted by the restaurant’s picturesque surroundings. The rustic, yet refined interior perfectly reflects its woodland location, with large windows that provide sweeping views of the forest. The ambiance is cozy and intimate, making it an ideal place for everything from a romantic dinner to a quiet family meal.

What truly sets Walk in Woods apart, however, is the food. Every dish is thoughtfully crafted, showcasing locally sourced ingredients that shine in their simplicity and freshness. We started with the wild mushroom soup, which was rich, creamy, and bursting with earthy flavors. The seasoning was spot on, and the generous serving size made it a perfect appetizer.

For the main course, I had the pan-seared duck breast, which was absolutely divine. The duck was tender and cooked to perfection, with a crispy skin that added a wonderful texture. It was paired with a savory berry compote that balanced the richness of the duck beautifully. My companion chose the herb-crusted salmon, which was equally impressive – flaky, flavorful, and accompanied by a light lemon beurre blanc sauce that elevated the dish without overpowering it.

The sides were equally fantastic, particularly the roasted root vegetables, which were caramelized to perfection, and the garlic mashed potatoes that were creamy without being too heavy. It’s clear that every ingredient is carefully chosen, and the chefs have a true passion for creating memorable dishes.

To end the meal on a high note, we shared the homemade apple crumble for dessert. Served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, it was the perfect balance of sweet and tart, with a delightful crumble texture that made every bite irresistible.

Walk in Woods Restaurant not only offers a stunning atmosphere and incredible food, but also an experience that feels like a retreat. Whether you’re a local or just visiting the area, this gem is definitely worth a stop. I’ll certainly be returning for another peaceful escape into both nature and exceptional cuisine....

I visited Walk in Wood (Sahastradhara Road) with my family and we initially enjoyed the food. We ordered Palak Paneer, Soya Chaap, Rumali Roti, and Garlic Naan. Unfortunately, while eating, I found a hair (which appeared to be a beard hair) on my naan. I informed the staff, and they replaced it. I chose to ignore it the first time, as such things can happen once in a while.

However, when we later ordered Jeera Rice and Dal Makhni, we again found a hair – this time in my wife's plate. At that point, I had to call the manager and raise the issue. We decided to stop eating and left the meal midway.

The manager kindly said we didn’t need to pay, but I still paid for the items that we had already eaten and were served properly, out of respect for the effort of the kitchen staff. I did not pay for the items where hygiene was compromised. I’m also sharing the bill here as a reference for transparency.

That said, I request the management to take strict action regarding hygiene. Staff members — whether chefs, servers, or any hotel employees — should maintain clean, well-groomed beards and must wear proper hairnets and beard covers while handling food.

A single mistake can be forgiven, but repeated hygiene issues are unacceptable, especially in a restaurant setting. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken seriously to avoid such experiences for other guests...

I recently ordered from walk in woods and it was an extremely disappointing experience. I had high hopes based on the reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.

First and foremost, the quantity of food I received was shockingly small. For the price I paid, I expected a decent portion, but what I got was barely enough to satisfy a child's appetite. It felt like I was given half of what was promised in the menu description. This is unacceptable, especially when there are many other options available that offer better value for money.

Moreover, the food arrived cold. Not just lukewarm, but completely cold. It was clear that it had been sitting out for a while before being delivered. Cold food is not only unappetizing but also raises concerns about food safety. I had to reheat everything, which completely ruined the texture and taste.

The combination of poor quantity and cold food made this one of the worst delivery experiences I've ever had. I understand that mistakes can happen, but this felt like a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. I reached out to the restaurant for a resolution, but I have yet to receive a response.

I hope walk in woods takes this feedback seriously and makes necessary improvements. Until then, I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for a satisfactory meal delivery...

I’ve been visiting this restaurant quite often because it’s close to my place, and I genuinely love the food, the ambiance, and the courteous staff. The vibe is always welcoming, and the menu has some great options—especially the chaaps, biryani, and gravies. However, one thing that really needs attention is the inconsistency in the taste of the food. Even though I order the same dishes every time, the flavors vary a lot. Some days the chaap is so delicious and melt-in-the-mouth, while on other days it's hard, bland, and disappointing. The biryani and gravies too go from being packed with flavor to feeling under-seasoned. Another issue that needs immediate attention is the smell on the staircase while entering the building. There’s a strong, unpleasant odor that really puts you off before you even get to the restaurant. We’ve complained multiple times, but nothing has changed so far. This place has so much potential and I truly enjoy coming here, but please look into these issues because it would be sad to see customers drift away from such a lovely spot.

A Flavorful Journey in a Laid-Back Setting.. I visited The walk in woods restaurant last weekend. This casual multicuisine spot does an incredible job of bringing global flavors together without being overwhelming. From Thai curries to Italian pastas and Indian street food-inspired starters — everything tasted fresh, authentic, and well thought out. The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Our server happily recommended dishes based on our preferences and even adjusted spice levels to suit our group. Big plus! The vibe of the place is relaxed but stylish — cozy lighting, upbeat music, and a fun mix of diners from families to friend groups. You can tell it’s a spot made for lingering over good food and conversation. Pricing was very fair for the portions and variety. We especially loved the butter chicken tacos and the pad thai — both bursting with flavor. Highly recommend if you’re in the mood for a casual night out and want to explore a little bit of everything. Global tastes, local comfort. 🌍🍴thankyou walk in woods😍
