The Status - Kitchen & Bar — Restaurant in Vasai-Virar

I recently visited Status restaurant in vasai, and I must say that it was an incredibly disappointing experience. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the service and management were far from satisfactory. First and foremost, we were made to wait for over an hour before we were even acknowledged by the staff. The lack of attention and communication was frustrating and showed a disregard for their customers' time. To make matters worse, we were informed that the chef was unable to make our order. This is completely unacceptable for a restaurant that claims to provide quality food and service. It is the restaurant's responsibility to ensure that they have a capable kitchen staff to meet customer expectations. What added to the frustration was the manager's apparent helplessness in resolving the situation. Instead of taking ownership of the issue and finding a solution, the manager seemed unprepared and unresponsive. It was clear that they lacked the necessary skills to handle such situations effectively. Overall, our experience at status restaurant vasai was extremely disappointing. I expected a higher level of service and professionalism, but unfortunately, it fell short in every aspect. I would strongly caution anyone considering dining at this establishment to think twice...

In this hotel, if you don't open the door, Shiva or their colleagues open the door directly with the key they have.Even if you don't open the door after your check out timing, hotel staff can open the door. And our check out timing was 10 am the next day. But here they come and check in our personal room without any permission before time. And when we ask about this matter, they lie that the cleaning man has come and open the door. When we asked for the CCTV footage, they say that the CCTV is off. And when we started talking loudly, Shiva the man at the reception, admitted that I was the one who had come and seen. There AC is not working properly in any room, we had changed room twice. And he replied that AC repair man came and I opened the room as you didn't pick the call. There is no such kind of privacy.If they can open the room without your permission, they can also install cameras in the room.. There is no such safety. And the manager there is also rude asking us to be quiet even when his employee is at fault. I humbly request, please don't stay in this hotel. Because you are not sure how safe you...

Another oldest restaurant in Vasai we still had not had chance to pay a visit. Finally visited the place on the day of Rangpanchami.

Outer seating area is not at all impressive. It's really gloomy and unmaintained. Chairs are ancient and the air very dense. So, we chose to sit in the inner dining hall. This place is much better than the outer one. The table we were seated at was moving and rattling, but a guy fixed it in no time.

We ordered Nargisi Kebab (minced chicken within a chicken leg and 4 such legs), Chicken Manchow Soup, Murg Afgani (topped with a fried egg), Rotis, Naan and Jeera Rice. We had to wait for 25 minutes to get Nargisi Kebab but it was worth the wait! It was exquisite. My brother is Chicken lover, but he too surrendered. The dish was so rich, well done and tasty. Murg Afgani, though on the slightly sweeter side, had a thick and rich gravy which we had fun eating. Staff is efficient. Apart from the outer seating area ambience and the wait for the entre, I have no complaints whatsoever.
