I am compelled to share my recent experience at Hotel, which turned into an incredibly distressing ordeal that I would not wish upon anyone. As a frequent traveler, I have stayed in various accommodations, from budget inns to luxury resorts, and understand that sometimes things don't go as planned. However, the level of inconsideration and poor service I encountered at this establishment was beyond any reasonable expectation.
Upon returning to the hotel after an evening out, I found myself in an unfortunate predicament — I had lost the key to my room. Aware that accidents happen, I approached the reception with the hope of a quick resolution, expecting standard protocol to kick in, such as the issuance of a new key or the use of a master key card to grant me access to my room.
To my disbelief, the receptionist was the antithesis of helpful. Despite my situation and the late hour, there was an apparent lack of empathy or urgency to resolve the issue. I was told that nothing could be done to help me regain access to my room until the morning. I was dumbfounded by the absence of a contingency plan for such a common mishap as a lost key.
As a result, I found myself stranded in the hotel lobby, without access to my belongings, medication, and the comfort of the bed I had paid for. With no alternative offered by the hotel staff, I was forced to spend the night outside, exposed to the elements and the insecurity of an unfamiliar environment. The experience was not only uncomfortable but also completely unsafe.
The situation compelled me to book another hotel for the night at a considerable unplanned expense and inconvenience. It is unacceptable for a hospitality business to demonstrate such a lack of concern for the well-being and safety of its guests.
I am deeply disappointed by the service, or lack thereof, provided by Hotel. The reception staff's inability to assist in an emergency situation is a serious flaw in the hotel's operations. I strongly urge potential guests to reconsider booking a stay at this hotel. The lack of basic customer support and the potential for a similar experience make it a risk not worth taking.
It is imperative that hotel management reviews and revises their policies and staff training to ensure that no other guest experiences such a neglectful and distressing scenario. Hospitality should be at the heart of the hospitality industry, and unfortunately, it seems to have been forgotten at hotel western inn vasai.
Rating: 1/5 (and that is being generous)
Please take this review as a sincere cautionary tale and a plea to Hotel to take immediate action in improving their...

Read moreI had planned a 3-day wedding event in this hotel as it was near to our location. But later while looking at the reviews just 2 weeks before our wedding I got very scared as the payment was already made and it was non-refundable. We discussed this with Mr. Arvind who was in charge of the Banquet and catering and Mr. Chirag who was in charge of Room service. Both were on top of their respective department to ensure our 3-day wedding event goes well and as planned.
Banquet and catering: It was well managed by Mr. Arvind and Mr. Bhavesh (Decorator). The cleanliness, food service and the overall arrangements were up to the mark. Earlier we were very much concerned about the food taste when we had a Starters trial but the food was amazing during the main events. The decor was also well managed for all our events. Credits to Mr. Bhavesh PS: per plate cost is on little higher side with less options available.
Room service: Rooms were clean but the service was little slow. We literally had to call for room service more than twice for cleaning and other room service orders.
Overall it was a good experience with Hotel Western Inn. Would definitely suggest to plan events in this hotel to my friends and family. Thanks to Mr. Arvind, Mr. Chirag, Ms. Shaynaa and Mr. Bhavesh for efforts and making my wedding event a...
