Up for Goa vibes in Kolkata? I have this new place for you called Coffee Cafe

Located on the Diamond Harbour road right before IIM Joka, this place is just 5 mins away from Joka metro and is inside Aristro Club. Certainly to give you some positive vibes this place is soon going to become a hotspot for all the teenagers who look for Insta-worthy places in an around Kolkata.

Vibrant, colourful and soothing to the eyes, one can't stop themselves from clicking a few pictures once they enter. Now lets talk about the food which stands out for some dishes while others lie on the edge.

The menu is well curated with both vegetarian and non vegetarian delicacies and you will get to choose from a good variety in all the sections , be it starter or the desserts.

Tried a lot of things over here. Of which dessert section would get the best rating overall while Fish & Chips and the Grilled chicken Steak steals the show for me.

The fish and chips are juicy from inside and crispy from outside and the fish was just melting in the mouth. On the other hand the sauce used to toss the chicken steak took the dish one step ahead. The meat was also cooked well else would not have been that enjoyable.

Also would love to mention their juicy grilled pepper chicken burgers which were delicious. Hardly I have appreciated a burger but here I must.

From the desserts, New York cheesecake was top notch , muffins were great too. Here's a list of what we tried, may be you would love to try them as well.

Lastly, you can buy plants/ flower pots from here which adds to the reasons that you must visit...

Overall it was a very nice time pass.

Food - 5/5 We ordered a parmesan basil pasta(non veg), lemon cake, fresh lime soda, choco frappe and blue lagoon.

Started off with the drinks i.e fresh lime soda and choco frappe. Drinks were a little dissappointing, it can be improved. The lime soda was bit too salty, choco frappe was very diluted. The blue lagoon also felt diluted in taste.

The lemon cake was well done and cutely decorated, best we had so far, straight out the oven and warm. It was well balanced, packed with flavors. The pasta was great, fell instantly in love with how well it was done. Will visit again to have that pasta. ☺️

Ambience - 4/5

The cafe is broken into two segments. The one downstairs is well lit with warm lighting and a good display of desserts, bread and cookies. Seating theme down is very similar to restutant styled chairs and glass tables. Walls have paintings on display.

The stairs to rooftop part of cafe upstairs have paintings and a huge dreamcatcher hanging.

The upstairs part is different, though unlike down, which has ac, this part is open with greenery, potted plants hanging on a major side covering a whole part. Air coolers, mora chairs, dark with less lighting, the light sources came from hanging lamps and rice lights. The look was fun and colorful. While preference was to sit upstairs because of the ambience and decor there were mosquitoes which forced us to go downstairs. I hope this problem could be taken care of during night time. Cant say how it is during the day.
