Nestled in Tamluk at the Padbasan stoppage, Aami Bangali is a vibrant restaurant that promises an authentic taste of Bengal. Despite minor inconveniences like the absence of dedicated parking, the eatery stands out with its distinctive Bengali graffiti, creating a culturally rich ambiance.During my recent visit, I sampled three evening snacks, each revealing a different facet of Bengali cuisine.Morog Peayaji: Deep-fried minced chicken nuggets coated in Bengali spices and cornflour offered a satisfactory experience, albeit slightly overshadowed by its relatively higher price point.Dry Chilly Fish Bhekti: The Bhetki fillet in Szechuan sauce provided a decent quantity, but the taste fell short of expectations. The quality of the fish, however, added a redeeming factor to the dish.Kolkata Fish Fry: The star of the culinary adventure was undeniably the Kolkata Fish Fry. Juicy, succulent, and expertly marinated with Bengali herbs and spices, the fish stole the spotlight. The thin, seasoned outer crust elevated the dish to culinary excellence, making it the highlight of the dining experience.Aami Bangali, with its mixed bag of culinary delights, is a worthwhile destination for those seeking an authentic taste of Bengal in Tamluk. Despite varied experiences, the vibrant ambiance and the standout dish, Kolkata Fish Fry, make Aami Bangali a memorable...
Read moreVery much disappointing experience. We have already tried "Ami Bangali" restaurant in Purulia outlet while traveling to Purulia. But here in Tamluk outlet, it was very much disheartening. We went this outlet (Tamluk) only to experience the food items ,but unfortunately, disappointed. Here's some reasons : -
It took longer (more than 1 hour) to serve food after we ordered. Rice in 1 plate ( we ordered 3 'thalis') served normal (not hot). Fishes served in the "fish curry" were not properly fried.(please refer to the image shown). Although they replaced the fish, but it was again the same picture. 4.Prices charged higher than the Purulia outlet. 5.In Purulia we got "rayta" with salad that was missing here. Most importantly, taste of almost every items were not up to the mark , rather taste ordinary, if not average.
Last of all, I want to say that I am not against "Aami Bangali" restaurant.May be particularly this outlet (Tamluk) is not that kind of professional. I have only tried to share my own personal...

A newly opened restaurant in Tamluk town. The ambiance is good, specious. The restaurant is nicely decorated, and the staff are polite, do their best, they need a professional touch. As the name is "Aami Bangali" so you won't be disappointed if you are fond of typical Bengali Food, both veg and non veg dishes. #Fish quality is really good, chicken also. Again I say it's a Bengali Food restaurant and their speciality in Bengali cuisine, try those. But you can get Biriyani of different flavour, some North Indian dishes and also Chinese, but these are not upto the mark. Try their Bengali dishes, they are authentic, good, tasty and the...
