The only USP of this hotel is its location — right in front of the New Digha sea beach. As a result, the sea can be seen all the time from all the front-facing rooms, and even the side-facing rooms offer a beautiful sea view. From the balconies of the back-facing rooms too, you can catch a partial glimpse of the sea.
Since all kinds of shops are located nearby, there’s no difficulty in finding food or doing a bit of shopping outside. And for those who enjoy good spirits, it’s worth mentioning that the hotel has its own liquor shop and bar-cum-restaurant.
However, a few things could be improved — not major issues, but areas that could be better:
Reception and Housekeeping
Reception service: Even though four rooms were booked two months in advance, during check-in we were given three rooms immediately but had to wait about half an hour for the fourth one to be ready. Yet at check-out, when we were just five minutes late (9:05 a.m.), they didn’t forget to remind us promptly.
Room cleaning: In two days, no one came to clean the rooms or toilets even once.
Drinking water: No one provides purified (Aquaguard) water to the room unless you ask for it.
Payment: Credit cards are not accepted.
Restaurant
Breakfast: Compared to other nearby hotels, the variety and quality of the complimentary breakfast are quite poor.
Service: Room service from the restaurant is very good — quick and polite.
Food Quality: However, the quality of the food is not at all satisfactory considering the high prices. The prices are quite steep, which could be acceptable if the taste and quantity matched up — but they don’t. For instance, a plain tarka here costs ₹150, whereas outside you can get egg tarka at ₹100 in a good restaurant, and the quality there is far better.
That said, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel overall. It was a pleasant experience. But the room rent here is quite a bit higher than other similar hotels — mainly because you can watch the sea right...

Read moreThe location of the hotel is really good, it is at the very last lane of the area. The beach view rooms are good as well, in terms of the view. However, the rooms we stayed in were dampened. We saw black mosses on the ceiling and some places in the walls. I generally do not have issues with that, but given the rates, the quality of the rooms should have been much better. Beware that credit cards are not accepted and debit cards sometimes do not work (according to them). So UPI and cash are you great friends.
The hotel is near most of the utility shops and restaurants, along with its own restaurant. The buffet breakfast wasn't very good. However, I liked the tea that they made. The food is decent, and they have room service. Overall, it was a good experience but expected better quality in terms of the stay, given the price charged. But sometimes the price is for the location and not the amneties, which can be...
