Hotel Kohinoor — Restaurant in West Bengal

Cant say anything good about this restaurant. I will just say the cons as i could not find any pros after visiting here as well as ordering from swiggy. The owner/cashier who sits at the entrance is tooo rude. He should remember that Durgapur is a decent place and the culture here is not same from wherever he belongs. On every occasion after telling to wait for food , he informs after 20-25 mins that the food I required is not available. I faced it with tandoori roti, mutton kasha, chicken bharta and egg tadka. So it seems its their policy to harass customers. Quantity is too less. for example they give only 4 pieces of paneer in paneer butter masala for 130 rs. 4.Taste of some of the foods is out of the world. You can only get rasagolla like sweet chicken as chicken tikka masala and lemon like sour gravy as paneer tikka masala. I have tolerated this place for long time only because of my childhood nostalgia of kohinoor. But this is enough. May god bless you all who are courageous enough to visit or give order of food from this...

SUCH A THIRD CLASS RESTAURANT...All remaining positive and 5 star reviews are paid reviews and false Reviews....Mark my word.....Do not believe in other reviews....The stall outside their restaurant, which is a part of the restaurant makes egg rolls and other fast foods.. The OIL for frying Is like Yellow DAAL. ..It is such a poor quality unchanged palm oil and regularly used oil, until you see it, u will not believe my words. They are so unhygienic that Insects are falling on the maida and they keep on cooking with that. WORST RESTAURANT. These unhygienic restaurants are the main cause of falling sickness....I warn you DO NOT GO THERE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO FALL SICK...... Besides behaviour of the staffs are also very bad. They don't know how to behave with customers. This restaurant should be banned for making foods with such Low...

"Kohinoor" name is enough. It's a franchise of the original one from Benachity. You'll get everything there. Actually Kohinoor is biriyani specialist in Durgapur, so you'll get the best in town biriyani there. However their all other dishes such as kababs, chicken tikka, nun, kulcha, laccha, mixed veg etc. are famous as well. You must try the laccha and biriyani there, my personal favorite. They accept all kind of payments method and delivers to home as well. However it's the main centre for zomato in Bidhannagar zone. So why 4 star? Because the amount of food is a bit lesser than benachity kohinoor.... At least I...
