Very Disappointing Experience at Hungry Restro (13/10/2024)
I recently visited Hungry Restro with my friends for dinner, but it was a letdown.
No Regular Drinking Water: The restaurant does not provide regular drinking water, forcing customers to buy bottled water. This is quite unusual as most restaurants offer regular water for free.
Subpar Food Quality: The overall quality of the food was below expectations, with dishes not tasting as they should.
Small Portions: i) The food portions were smaller than expected, especially considering the prices. It left us unsatisfied and still hungry. ii) Chicken biryani's quantity is also not satisfying.
Misleading Dishes: i) The Butter Tandoori Roti tasted more like Butter Naan. ii) The Paneer Butter Masala had a flavor profile more similar to Kaju Paneer, which wasnât what we were looking for. iii) At âč205 for the Paneer Butter Masala, the portion size felt inadequate.
Indifferent Staff Response: When we mentioned our disappointment with the food, the staff's response was dismissive, stating, "sometimes it happens."
Concerns from Other Customers: We noticed another family expressing dissatisfaction with their meal and discussing the matter with the owner.
Quality Drops During Festivals: While the service might be better on regular days, the food quality significantly drops during busy times like festivals.
Not Worth the Money: Considering the high prices and inconsistent quality, the restaurant does not offer good value, especially during peak times.
Recommendation: I would not suggest visiting Hungry Restro, particularly during festivals or...

To be honest, it isnât as aggressively rich as a Hyderabadi Biryani, nor is it as plain as a simple homestyle Dada-Boudi Biryaniâ it offers a well-balanced blend of ingredients and flavors. The biryani is served with Raita. âąÂ»When ordering the biryani, opt for the legđpiece. đ„The Chicken Kadai was delicious with tender chicken pieces and a rich, flavorful gravy.A satisfying and tasty dish overallđ
Finally, regarding the coffee mug shown in the photo: itâs a promotional gift from Hungry Restro available between 1:00 PM-4:00 PM for orders above âč400. (During lunch hours Naan and Kulcha are not available; only rumali roti is served.) âąThe restaurant maintains standards of hygiene and cleanliness. Tables and dining areas are spotless. But there is no...
