I’ve visited this restaurant several times, but this was my first time trying their biryani. To be honest, it isn’t as aggressively rich as a Hyderabadi Biryani, nor is it as plain as a simple homestyle Dada-Boudi Biryani— it offers a well-balanced blend of ingredients and flavors. The biryani is served with Raita. ‹»When ordering the biryani, opt for the leg🍗piece. đŸ„˜The Chicken Kadai was delicious with tender chicken pieces and a rich, flavorful gravy.A satisfying and tasty dish overall😋 Finally, regarding the coffee mug shown in the photo: it’s a promotional gift from Hungry Restro available between 1:00 PM-4:00 PM for orders above â‚č400. (During lunch hours Naan and Kulcha are not available; only rumali roti is served.) ‱The restaurant maintains standards of hygiene and cleanliness. Tables and dining areas are spotless. But there is no washroomđŸš»available here.

I have ordered hot n sour non-veg soup which was full of tomato sauce and chilli powder. Cost 110 rupees goes in vein. Also ordered fish fingers that comes after 40 minutes still the fish is stinking and the taste is awful. That costs 210 rupees which also goes in vein. Most pathetic foods I have ever ate in restaurants in Medinipur. Ambience was good once upon a time but they not maintaining the hygiene properly nor the cleanliness. I don't know why the people in Medinipur like this type of resturant. Really disgusting experience ever. A mosquito net is always making a noisy sound inside that was so irritating.

I have received one combo from their recent launch.. Chicken biriyani with chicken chap from their recent launch.. Biriyani - Taste is quite good, size of the chicken is really big, one egg, one potato, good quantity of rice. Chicken chap - spicy, tasty gravy with2 boneless chicken piece. Combo - now about the combo,, provided with nice packaging, tissue, curtlary, paper soap, water n cold drink.. Super like from my side.. Must try combo offer by themđŸ‘đŸ»...

Very Disappointing Experience at Hungry Restro (13/10/2024)

I recently visited Hungry Restro with my friends for dinner, but it was a letdown.

No Regular Drinking Water: The restaurant does not provide regular drinking water, forcing customers to buy bottled water. This is quite unusual as most restaurants offer regular water for free.

Subpar Food Quality: The overall quality of the food was below expectations, with dishes not tasting as they should.

Small Portions: i) The food portions were smaller than expected, especially considering the prices. It left us unsatisfied and still hungry. ii) Chicken biryani's quantity is also not satisfying.

Misleading Dishes: i) The Butter Tandoori Roti tasted more like Butter Naan. ii) The Paneer Butter Masala had a flavor profile more similar to Kaju Paneer, which wasn’t what we were looking for. iii) At â‚č205 for the Paneer Butter Masala, the portion size felt inadequate.

Indifferent Staff Response: When we mentioned our disappointment with the food, the staff's response was dismissive, stating, "sometimes it happens."

Concerns from Other Customers: We noticed another family expressing dissatisfaction with their meal and discussing the matter with the owner.

Quality Drops During Festivals: While the service might be better on regular days, the food quality significantly drops during busy times like festivals.

Not Worth the Money: Considering the high prices and inconsistent quality, the restaurant does not offer good value, especially during peak times.

Recommendation: I would not suggest visiting Hungry Restro, particularly during festivals or...

Disappointing Experience at Hungry Restro!!!

The food quality was poor, and the quantities were very small, leaving us still hungry after eating. For the high prices, the taste and quantity were not worth it. When we told the staff that the food wasn't good, they just brushed it off, saying, "sometimes it happens." We also saw another family arguing with the owner about their meal.
