Samrat RestauranT — Restaurant in West Bengal

I have very bad experiences of HOME DELIVERY ordered (tried to order) thrice in last two months. Once, they refused to deliver without showing any reason. Too late delivery. They never maintain time. Amount is significantly less than the amount served in restaurant Complementary curd were too little with biriyani. Basically same amount they packed everytime without considering the number of dishes. Upon calling the person talked adamantly; as if they have favored us giving a complementary dish and cost of it is not included in the dish price. They argue like anything without acknowledging their fault. I had very good impression of the restaurant, but now i shall think twice before placing a home delivery. Other restaurants are doing much better than them in home delivery segment in Midnapore.

Most often staff behaviour is very rude & Food quality is worse than that.

Once in my back days I used to go this restaurant more often than any other, but recently for 2 3 times repeatedly I faced the lack of standardization that they had.

Last time I ordered 1 plate of chicken biriyani. I am a old customer, so i knew the Quality of Biriyani in Samrat and would have bren enough for two. But this time they brought me Stale white rice with Freezer smelling 2 piece of small chicken pieces. It was like they slapped me took my money.

They have lost the customer satisfaction intensity completely, mostly the Staffs believe that they are the owner and treat the customers...

If you are at West Midnapore and you are hungry then think about Hotel Samrat. Vegetarian & Non-vegetarian dishes are served here. Quality of food is good. Many times I have visited there along with my family & once I have visited along with my Japanese friend, experience was very good. Environment also good. Recently they have changed interior of the restaurant & now it looks better. You can pay by credit or debit cards. Earlier there was a small LCD but now they removed. I don't know why? So, when you are waiting for your dishes after ordering you have to depend upon your mobile. Washroom is also good. No official car parking is here but it is manageable. Overall it's a good restaurant...
