🍗 Review: KFC (Nearest Branch — 22km of Loyalty, 0km of Napkins) 😅
Let me just say — I want to love this KFC. It's the closest one to me (a casual 22 kms away, because clearly I’m in a long-distance relationship with fried chicken). But lately? The experience has taken a nosedive.
Had two orders — ₹599 and ₹499 — and guess what came with them? No tissues, no ketchup, no straws. Not even a “sorry” when asked. And when I did ask for tissues, it was handed out like they were made of gold leaf and tears. Stingy to the point of comedy.
This branch used to be amazing — fast, clean, well-managed. But now it feels like all the good employees either left or vanished into the fryer. As for the food, it’s soggy, overly oily, and feels like it’s been emotionally deep-fried. Either they’ve got a new chef experimenting with oil as a lifestyle, or quality control went out the drive-thru.
That said — and I mean this — the staff at the counter are genuinely lovely. They smile, greet you, remember your face and your usual order, and try to bring some warmth to the otherwise greasy chaos. They’re the real reason I keep going back (well, that and my lack of options unless I want to raise chickens myself).
Final Verdict: 🌟🌟🌟☆☆ Still showing up for the staff and the chicken I hope to get — but the management seriously needs to stop rationing tissues like it's 1942 and fix the fryer situation. Until then, this KFC will remain a tale of potential dipped in oil and wrapped in...
Read moreYesterday, I went to a KFC branch in my locality only to have the worst KFC experience ever. I ordered the Zinger Pro Burger my go-to favorite and I get it almost every time I eat from KFC, whether on Zomato or Swiggy. Online, the burger is usually priced around ₹249, and after applying offers, I end up paying somewhere between ₹200–₹220, including delivery and platform fees.
But yesterday at the outlet, they charged me extra for a dip that honestly looked like the regular sauce they already use. On top of that, the lady at the counter charged me for a slice of cheese, which they didn’t even add to the burger. The burger was cold and so poorly made it was insulting. The tomato slices were ridiculously thick as if they didn’t even care. After I complained, they finally added the cheese and microwaved the whole thing before handing it back to me. I was starving, which is the only reason I even ate it.
It cost me ₹297 for that disaster. The staff was absolutely useless. Hiring people like this is how you destroy the reputation of a global brand. KFC should and can do much...
Read moreThe KFC outlet exudes a casual and vibrant atmosphere. The red and white color scheme, coupled with the tantalizing aroma of fried chicken, sets the mood for a hearty meal. The seating arrangements are comfortable, making it suitable for both quick bites and leisurely dining. The star of the show, undoubtedly, is the chicken. Whether you prefer Original Recipe or Hot & Crispy, KFC consistently delivers on taste. The chicken is juicy, well-seasoned, and satisfyingly crunchy. While KFC isn’t the most budget-friendly option, the portion sizes justify the cost. Combo meals offer great value, especially if you’re sharing with friends or family. Despite minor flaws, this KFC remains a go-to spot for chicken lovers. Whether you’re grabbing a quick snack or indulging in a full meal, the familiar taste of KFC never disappoints. Just be prepared for occasional crowds...
