Mahaprabhu Hotel, Tamluk is a pure veg food outlet situated near Bargabhima Temple or Tamluk Ghatal Bus Stand. Tamluk is located near National Highway connecting Digha with Kolkata / Kharagpur.

They serves unlimited veg meal (rice, dal, 2 types of sabzi, bhaja / fries, fried papad, chatni and payesh / kheer) that too without onion and garlic. Meals are served on brass utensils. Price of a meal is Rs.60/-. Meals are served only during day time (10am - 3pm). It is served on the 1st floor of the outlet. They also serves tea downstairs throughout the day. Owner and staffs are very polite.

I visited this hotel for vegetarian food, but my experience was very disappointing. They did not inform us beforehand that one of the sabjis was out of stock. After we had already started eating, they mentioned that they only had dal, aloo vanga, and another sabji available. Later, when we asked for a refill, they said the other sabji was also finished.

It’s very unprofessional that they didn’t mention the unavailability of dishes before taking our order. On top of that, the staff were rude and tried to defend themselves instead of accepting their mistake. Overall, very poor service and...

I recently visited Mahaprabhu Hotel in Tamluk. In breakfast_ Cha, biscuit, karochi, cholar dal ruti, and sweet – overall quite good and satisfying. In lunch_ Mainly vegetable thali – the quality and taste have slightly decreased compared to earlier. Sometimes, certain vegetable dishes are not available after 1 PM. However, service needs improvement. Occasionally, the staff miss serving items like chutney, papad, or payesh, which are normally included.
