Mrityunjoy Restaurant — Restaurant in West Bengal

Mrityunjoy Restaurant is a very well known restaurant in the town of Chinsurah serving delicious dishes.. It was in our to visit list for a long time, and finally on the occasion of pre puja shopping, we finally decided to visit here for dinner..

Usually this restaurant remains open and takes order till 10pm.. So after shopping it was already 9pm when we visited there, but it was almost full at that time too..

The interior decor is simple and nice with adequate lighting.. There is a big tv on the centre wall.. music is played in the background which is soft and well chosen..

Staff behavior is good and polite..

After going through the menu we decided to have the following:

Chello Kabab - this one is a famous dish here and obviously this dish have come to fame from the iconic Peter Cat in Park Street.. there were 3 types of kebabs in the dish with a total of 9 pieces.. there was butter mixed rice and an egg poach kept on top of the rice.. alongside there was green chutney and salad for the kebabs.. Overall the dish was very well prepared..

Plain Naan & Garlic Naan - both types of naan were soft and tasty and felt good to eat..

Chicken Tikka Butter Masala - served in a small kadai, this dish was excellent and very much tasty.. There were 8 pieces of boneless and tender chicken pieces..

Sanghai Chicken - for a change, we had also ordered this chinese dish and we were quite impressed by the taste and love with which it was prepared.. there were 8 pieces of soft and boneless chicken pieces, and also there were mushroom cashew capsicum in the gravy.. this dish is on a bit sweeter side and we liked it very much..

Overall it was a lovely experience having tasty food in this restaurant.. Will surely recommend it to my foodie...

Well, well, well...where do I begin with this delightful dining experience? Let me start by saying that if you're looking for a restaurant with outstanding service, you should definitely look elsewhere.

Our server was simply fantastic! Who doesn't enjoy waiting for an eternity for their drinks and food to arrive? And the way they ignored our requests for giving our desserts a bit later was truly a work of art.

The wait time was absolutely incredible! I have never experienced such a long wait in my life. But good things come to those who wait, right? Unfortunately, the food wasn't quite worth the wait. It was just...okay. But, at least it was edible!

Oh, and let's not forget about the fabulous basin in the restroom! It's a real treat, especially if you're looking for a chance to take an unexpected dip. The step leading up to it is a bit deeper than usual, so if you're not paying attention, you might just take a tumble. But who doesn't love a good surprise, right?

And as for accessibility, well, let's just say that if you're in a wheelchair, you might want to think twice before visiting this establishment. The lack of wheelchair accessibility is just another charming feature of this delightful dining experience. Who needs equal access for all when you can have a good old fashioned obstacle course instead?

Overall, I would say that this restaurant is definitely worth a visit...if you're in the mood for subpar service and average food....

It was a great experience..we were planning to visit this place for so many times but it remained unsuccessful every time. By the way, yesterday my family and I visited that place for a birthday celebration and had an awesome experience with food and behaviour of the staff... Everything was so much good.

At the very first, we requested them to allow us to celebrate one of our birthday and without any hesitation they allowed it infact they decorated the cake what we brought from Mio Amore (outside)...then we ordered so much food in batches and they delivered it as fast as they can and we requested them to decease the temperature of AC and they did it as well....we ordered Fish Finger, Butter Nun, Masala Kulcha, Chicken Reshmi Butter Masala, Deshi Mutton Masala, Veg Polao and Special Mutton Biriyani...taste of every item was so good and everything was piping hot...they also served every item that we ask for...

So my suggestion is if you are coming here to celebrate your birthday then ask for it first they will decorate it and its really family friendly 😍 so for good food and ambience you must visit here....
