If you are a Biryani lover you must visit this place once. After that, it's quality of Biryani will make you impelled to visit again and again. Okay at first, reviewing about the place. It is very near to the famous Clock Tower (Gharir More) of Chinsurah. So, public transports like Bus,E-Rickshaw, Auto Rickshaw,Manual Rickshaw are very much available here. Now coming to the point of the Restaurant. The passage is very short in the ground floor. So, a semi 1st floor space is created for you. 4-5 tables are properly adjusted. Now, coming to the main part,i.e: Biryani, It's just fantabulous. Not so heavy gravy,tastes awesome, chicken and mutton pieces are well tendered. The price is very much in someone's budget. As the side dish Chicken items are very popular here. So,in the case of food there is no glitch. But there is no parking here. You have to somehow park your bike aside the road and in the case of four wheeler,5-6 seater single one will acquire the place infront of the shop. So, be careful in that matter. Order for marriage ceremonies,house parties are taken here. The ingredients and the quantities of it will give you pleasure with it's fantabulous taste and it is available under low budget too. I am a long term Spicy customer. I love their mutton biriyani. I love it soo much that you can say that I'm their fan ambassador. I recommend spicy to all my friends whenever I talk about biriyani. In my previous experiences, Bhaiya who takes the orders behaved really politely with me.

However, Today my experience was shattered by pathetic service. I turned on the fan because I came to spicy at around 4:30 in this extreme heat of this May & sat next to the fan. He told me to turn off the fan TWICE. Although he turned on the AC but it's cooling wasn't coming to the far corner in which I sat. (Why keep fan if customers can't use it). I didn't have much problems with it tho. I turned off the fan and sat near the AC.

In between this, I ordered 1 plate biriyani and asked not to give egg . I said it twice or thrice to him . Still he gave me egg. I still didn't have much problems with it.

BUT, he made fun of me as I asked him 2-3 times not to give the egg. This behaviour turned my mood off. You should never make fun of your customers. And talk in a polite manner.

With this pathetic experience, it's my last time visiting Spicy Chinsurah. I will never visit there again and will recommend my...

We ordered Chicken lollipop (1plate) for 3 people for starters. 1 plate consists of 6 chicken lollipop and it is better to share to share with 2 or 3 people because they are heavy enough as a starter. The lollipops are tasty and the portions are good. Yet, the seasoning was a bit more and it would have been better if the lollipops were a little bit more juicy. Overall, the Chicken lollipop is 3.5/5

For the main course we ordered Mutton biriyani and this was a wholesome meal. One full plate of mutton biryani contains an average sized mutton piece, half of a potato, 1 boiled egg and a little salad (cucumbers and onions). It is nearly impossible to complete one plate of the biriyani for an average eater. The biriyani tastes very good, and it's very light. If someone cannot finish his/her plate there's option to take away the rest of the food.
