Update: I went today after 3 years and this was the third time & hopefully the last. Second time experience - AC malfunctioning staff bad behaviour. Ordered same food mixed sizzler & it wasn’t as good as previously infact so bad we left the food.
Third time experience: Maintenance work going on in Bengali new year. The staff directed us to a seat filled with dust on complaining they tried to convince us its clean though we showed them how dusty it was. Lastly when i asked them for a piece of cloth so that i myself could clean the seat n table then they cleaned it. But to all the other visitors they convinced its not dust but just the furniture color 😂🥲 Sizzler is no more available ordered kadhai chicken , garlic naan & laccha paratha along with soda lime & masala cold drink. Kadhai chicken gravy masala was raw with no salth. Laccha paratha was dry looked like they forgot to put oil / butter. The soda lime n masala cold drink was never served.
The service n staff are so pathetic that we didnt even wanted to say anything.
When we asked for bill then they realised they didn’t served is beverages n after meal they served us beverages. So we said we won’t pay for it. For this bill they took 15 -20 mins.
The they cancelled it n made a fresh bill. So bbye welcome hope to never see u unless u improve. ———————————
Located in market place one of the best options or the best option there. I went there for a day's work & being new didn't know where to have lunch. On asking a local shop vendor he suggested this restaurant & am glad that he did.
The ambience is nice, calm, with instrumental music that is soothing to the ears & not banging your head.
I ordered some Chinese starter as suggested by the staff. I forgot the name & was so hungry that I forgot to take a photo as well. The starter looked so dry that I thought I would have to gulp it with sauce but o my my I was so wrong, the first bite broke my stigma. It was crispy outside n filled with all the flavours from inside, tangy sweet sour u name it. I loved it.
The masala lime was a perfect mix of salt n sweet as ordered.
The sizzler was good, one of the rare thing that you get nowadays. As chefs n restro don't know why experiment with sizzler n ruin them. But not this time. Loved the sizzler and the smokey taste. It was my first eating fish, mutton n mushroom in sizzler but it was awesome.
I really wanted to meet the chef but I was so happy with the food that I forgot 🤦

What used to be one of the best 10 years back, has lost all but it's ambience. Only the interior is the same. We visited on 28th January 2024 and ordered three Mutton Biryanis. Firstly, the waiter doesn't greet you, doesn't show any positivity. This I can ignore. But, what hit me bad is the quality of the food. The Biryani was simply stale, so dry, rice half-cooked, mutton pieces were so small that I couldn't figure out if it was two pieces or one piece broken into two. Lastly the mutton, honestly it was more like a rubber dough. You had to tear it with your teeth like an animal. Oh yes! There was a tiny bug too that I saw the moment the rice was served. the restaurant is situated right in the middle of chinsurah town nearest to ghorir more beside jawed habib. the restaurant serves a variety of dishes like continental,chinese,indian,mughlai etc and each of them has its unique taste and presentation of the food also is very good.coming to the atmosphere of the restaurant its very much awesome and has a calmness effect with dim lights and adds a very exquisite appearance to the restaurant indoor decors,seating arrangements are very much comfortable and you can spend hours without noticing the time,also the waiters are friendly and pretty responsive to your call,food service also is on time.overall the restaurant is veru good and i give it a 4 star...
