Panchu Gopal Dey's Food Plaza — Restaurant in West Bengal

Writting this review after we visited during Durga Puja, I can't describe in words how pathetic the experience was. The behaviour of the stuff is currently unacceptable, thay are not well behaved and the food quality is also avarage. Be it mentioned here they served us food but the quantity was not appropriate as promised in the menu card. On top of that we were forced to vacate the resturant, before we actually finish off our food. Ancillary fact which I want to mention, that the waiter denied to serve as a cold Drink, when we ask for a cold drink he just ignored us. And lastly the waiter denied to accept a 100 rs note mere because the note had a red stain. Lastly, the place doesn't have elementary facilities like washroom. I wrote a long paragraph, spend my valuable time just to aware you, that you will find range of places in kanchrapra to have quality food. Please try to avoid such places where you are getting basic facilities like washroom and moreover the behaviour of the stuff is something which cannot be denied. I have narrated my ordeal with everyone else. Hopefully adequate steps will be taken from management side, so that they can remove the recent short comings...

The taste of the food was below average, but the main issue was the staff’s behavior. First of all, they handed us the bill even before we had finished eating. It’s not like there were five more people waiting for a table. One of the staff members was literally circling around, watching closely how much we had eaten — which was extremely uncomfortable.

Secondly, when it came to paying the bill, my elderly mother pay the money above the bill book she doesn't know that to put inside the bill book so, he just snatched it from her hand put it in front of her in the table and put the money inside and said , “eije ei bhabe bill pay korte hoye .” in a very rude tone I mean, seriously?

It's located near to the Gandhi More of Kanchrapara. It's a two storey AC restaurant. The staff behaviour is very good. They have very good cook in their restaurant. The menu chart has a wide variety starting from Indian dishes to continental dishes . The ambience is soothing. You can celebrate your birthday here. The food taste is very good. Their Falooda and mocktel collection is very good. The virgin mojito was good. Dry chili chicken is awesome taste. Their rice collection is good. The service is very fast and the place is well cleaned. The decoration is very good. We visited there during the evening time and It was fully occupied. I like the first floor restaurant than the basement. It's a perfect family restaurant. You should visit here with your family...
