If you are looking for an Authentic Punjabi ( North Indian ) cuisine in our city then Punjabi Masala got to be at the Top of your list . We got ourselves visiting the outlet and the experience was just Magnificent . Many people think that Punjabi Masala is a place to savour mostly Non- vegetarian dishes , however we were Astonished to see the equal importance given to veg dishes on that menu . Ambience : It is quite spacious. Staff and Management : Indeed a very deferential staff which takes utmost care of their guests . A special thanks to Manager who made our evening at Punjabi Masala very special by making sure that we order the best dishes on that menu . The food was good but we have to say it wasn't served hot. The cutlery needs to be changed. If you are vegetarian ensure their Naan Breads are without eggs!!! Great ambience, good service, limited variety. Good experience..... This north Indian diner has a reasonably good ambience. Slightly congested table space, but the food is something to write home about. Better look for sitting in the few cubicle spaces available. We opted for the set menu. The chicken starters were tender, sumptuous & well cooked. Butter Chicken was delicious. Chicken Kadai was a tad spicy for my western friends, but perfect for the Indian tongue. Garlic Naan was soft & tasty. Chicken Tikka Biryani was something to die for. All in all an extremely satisfying experience. Must add the attitude of the entire staff was very cordial & helpful. A must for a...
Read moreI had an amazing dining experience at Punjabi Masala – The Family Dhaba. We ordered Chicken Dum Biryani, Chicken Tikka Masala, Mix Schezwan Fried Rice, Masala Kulcha, and Masala Cold Drinks, and everything was simply delicious.
The Chicken Dum Biryani was perfectly cooked, aromatic, and full of flavor, with tender pieces of chicken that melted in your mouth. The Chicken Tikka Masala had a rich, creamy gravy with the right level of spice — absolutely comforting and satisfying. The Mix Schezwan Fried Rice was well-balanced, flavorful, and had a nice hint of spice without being overpowering. The Masala Kulcha was soft, buttery, and paired perfectly with the gravies. The Masala Cold Drinks were refreshing and rounded off the meal nicely.
Portion sizes were generous, the presentation was appealing, and the food was served piping hot. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The ambiance of the place is casual and homely, making it perfect for a family meal or a relaxed outing with friends.
Overall, Punjabi Masala – The Family Dhaba delivers on both taste and experience. If you’re looking for flavorful North Indian cuisine with a touch of homely comfort, this place is definitely worth a...
Read moreA hidden gem for food lovers in Durgapur. This place is very close to NH2 , please try to visit once .
Update : 30.08.2023 Horrified experience. The quality has totally changed . Poor management . I had travelled 70 km for chicken supreme dish after confirming it over call . Once arrival they denied the phone call and were unable to serve the preferred dish. Foods which I have placed order , were mixed with rotten chickens . They are mixing up the fresh pieces with the rotten one . This is not for any specific dish. All the 3 dishes I ordered were the same . In the Main course most pieces were rotten ,so I shouted at them , then they replaced half plate with fresh chickens . It means whatever is happening Is totally intentional not by mistake . I am not visiting this place anymore soon . Saw similar rotten chicken reviews from other people also . Third class quality . AC was not working that too with an old slow ceiling fan in the room .
Note : Kindly consider this review as you can see I had posted a positive review too , 2years ago. This place has changed now . Horrified experience I had . Be alert when you are...
