I had my Daughter's Rice Ceremony planned here in Sakshi Restaurant. Mr. Sudip was the manager who helped me from beginning to end with his super Sales pitch skill and i agree he should be appreciated for this. Until 1 find day we (me along with my family) got to know his true color, but it was too late to step back. Day before the program, me and my wife was there with him and he acted as if he was not aware of the ceremony timings. Again after couple of talks, he agreed his mistake and promised to deliver.
Ceremony Day:
Morning Ceremony and Afternoon Lunch was well executed but one Blunder, GUEST WERE SERVED WITH EXPIRED BISLERI WATER. Again his sales pitch worked and well handled saying Sorry. But guests wont listen to this. ( @Sakshi Owner - Need your Intervention)
Evening Reception - We were called and said the Grand Entry and Theme decoration were done. After we came below are the pointers to look by Sakshi Owners:
1- Entry Doors were not even cleaned (Handmarks and dirt all over) - PICS OF THE DOOR IS WITH ME 2 - TABLES WERE NOT SETUP AND CLEANED AT ALL. IN FRONT OF GUESTS, I HAD TO CALL THEM AND ASKED TO SETUP, BUT AFTERNOONS FOOD WAS STILL NOT CLEANED FROM THE TABLE. 3 - We were told it was the Inhouse Cook but later after interacting with them got to know the cook were outsourced and they were from Burnpur. Food Quality was not at all up to the mark. 4 - Guests had to wait for the starters. I was getting to listen from the guests that starters counter was empty. On informing Sudip, his same sales pitch SORRY. 5 - 2 Live counters were included in my package ( 1 for 2 types of Mocktail and 1 for Jalebi Rabdi counter). Instead guests were served Mocktail in a glass puring from 2 litrs Pepsi bottle. And was that Jalebi rabdi, better you have given a glass of milk. 6 - I had my dad speaking with Sudip at the verge of closing the ceromony where i got a complain that Sudip was drunk and smelling. I mean how can you drink in the middle of ceromony or at the end of ceremony, and who gave you the audecity Mr Sudip to come in front of elders.
Conclusion:
@Sakshi Owners - I had my marrige in 2018 from Sakshi, with a fantastic Service and Hospitality. That was the big reason why i opted for my daughters Rice ceromony. Frankly speaking it was so unexpected and disheartning. My money was wasted, my family had a bad impression in front of my Guests. THIS WAS MY LAST FUNCTION IN SAKSHI, NOT ANYMORE FURTHER.

Read moreFOOD POISONING- BE AWARE I have ordered a few times from Sakshi Restaurant but most of the time their chicken dishes are stale and rotten had a funky smell to it like 3 times i have had this experience. 1st time it was chicken tikka lababdar it was stale and rotten i had food poisoning due to it and had to visit my doctor. 2nd time- it was chicken patiala which was stale and thank god i did not even take a bite as when i opened the box the rotten smell hit my nose but then when i complained them they replaced me with a new fresh one which was not rotten and was great in taste too. 3rd time that was 1st September 2024 they again gave me a rotten chicken lollipop which was stinking unfortunately due to the sauces i at first could not tell but after taking a bite i vomitted due to that stench even the chicken from inside had a white slime n slippery kind of texture completely spoiled. I complained swiggy that i received a rotten chicken lollipop to which swiggy DID NOT REFUND ME ANYTHING AS I ASKED THEM BUT INITIATED A TOKEN OF RS 42 only for the inconvenience that i faced to which when i called the restaurant though they agreed that yes the chicken was rotten i have screenshots of this as a proof and recordings as well but still blamed n argued with me for complaining against them to swiggy n spoiling their restaurant name and said that they will not replace this time. As per Mr. Sudip- they will get rid of their old stale freezer food by delivering it to us and if we are alive after consuming or have a human nose to identify that stench/rotting food before having it, IT IS OUR DUTY TO CALL THEM WAIT FOR ANOTHER HOUR FOR THEM TO PERSONALLY DELIVER FRESH FOOD that we ordered in the first place and take back the old rotten food maybe to deliver someone else n dupe them......i have a question then-why doesnt the restaurant at the first place deliver us proper fresh food that we have placed order for n paid for, why do they deliver rotten food and wait for us to either complain or worse get sick with food poisoning and then take action by replacement. Worst restaurant of ASANSOL. Uchi dukan sara gala pakwan is the proper hindi proverb for them. People if you RESPECT N VALUE ur life n health and not want to get sick with food poisoning then AVOID ATLEAST THIS RESTAURANT...
Read moreIt was an awful experience....my boyfriend called in this place regarding their cabin n they promised that they would provide it n when we went their the manager was cold and refused a cabin making an excuse that the AC was not working... We weren't informed that the cabin charged ₹200/- per hour and don't get me started on the food and the service they took so long to make the food and the food was so oily and not flavourful at all we couldn't even eat the whole chilly babycorn(which is the only food we ordered) it was overpriced and the vibe was also off there.... If you're looking for a first hand genuine experience review take it from me! It was absolutely horrendous! Very very disappointed and I had high hopes...
