Now, let's get to the highlight of the evening—the food. Shere Punjab's menu offers a wide array of Punjabi delicacies, from tandoori delights to rich curries and delectable desserts. The restaurant uses high-quality ingredients and authentic spices, resulting in flavors that truly transport you to the heart of Punjab.
We started our meal with the traditional Punjabi appetizer, Amritsari Fish Tikka, which was tender, perfectly spiced, and had a delightful crunch. The vegetarian options were equally impressive, with Paneer Tikka and Aloo Tikki showcasing the rich flavors of Punjab.
Moving on to the main course, we opted for the classic Butter Chicken, which was a standout dish. The creamy tomato-based gravy complemented the succulent chicken pieces perfectly. The Sarson da Saag and Makki di Roti were another highlight—a soulful combination that captured the essence of Punjab. Each dish was generously portioned and served piping hot.
To end our meal on a sweet note, we indulged in the traditional Punjabi dessert, Gulab Jamun. The soft, syrup-soaked dumplings were a delightful treat that left us satisfied and content.

Considering the quality and portion sizes, the prices at Shere Punjab are reasonable and offer good value for money. The restaurant provides an opportunity to savor authentic Punjabi cuisine without breaking the bank.
Overall, dining at Shere Punjab Kolaghat was a delightful experience. Nestled in the heart of Kolaghat, SHERE PUNJAB HOTEL is a hidden gem that delights food enthusiasts with its tantalizing Punjabi cuisine. As a connoisseur of Indian flavors, I recently had the pleasure of dining at this renowned establishment, and it was an experience to remember.
Walking into SHERE PUNJAB HOTEL, I was immediately greeted by the warm and inviting ambiance, which effortlessly blended modern aesthetics with traditional elements.
While SHERE PUNJAB HOTEL's focus is on delivering exceptional Punjabi cuisine, the restaurant also offers a wide range of vegetarian and vegan options, catering to diverse dietary preferences.
In terms of improvements, I would appreciate a wider variety of regional specialties from Punjab, as the menu mainly focuses on popular dishes. Additionally, the seating arrangements could be more spacious to accommodate larger groups comfortably.
The rooms at SHERE PUNJAB HOTEL are spacious, well-appointed, and impeccably clean. The comfortable beds and plush furnishings provided a cozy and relaxing environment. The room amenities were top-notch, including a flat-screen TV, mini-bar, and complimentary Wi-Fi. The en-suite bathroom was modern and well-maintained, with a selection of toiletries provided.
One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's dining options. The on-site restaurant offered a delightful array of Punjabi cuisine, with a wide range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The food was flavorful, freshly prepared, and served with great attention to detail. The restaurant's ambiance was inviting, and the service was prompt and courteous.
The hotel also boasts excellent facilities, including a well-equipped fitness center and a business center for those needing to work while traveling. The attentive and knowledgeable staff were always on hand to assist with any requests or inquiries.
In conclusion, SHERE PUNJAB HOTEL is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic Punjabi dining experience in Kolaghat. With its delectable dishes, warm hospitality, and charming ambiance, it promises to take you on a flavorful journey through the heart of Punjab.

Great Food and Ambience, but Room for Improvement.
Rating: 4 out of 5 stars
I recently celebrated my mother's birthday at Shere Punjab, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. Shere Punjab has been one of my go-to places for its proximity to my location, and this time, we were fortunate enough to find the restaurant relatively empty, avoiding the usual long wait times. The seating arrangements are suitable for families, friends, or large groups, but may not be the most ideal for couples seeking a more intimate setting.
We ordered the Shahi paneer, chicken 65, and veg fried rice, and as always, the food was exceptionally delicious. The portions were suitable for two people, and the flavors were rich and satisfying. However, one aspect that could be improved upon is their service speed. Regardless of whether the restaurant is crowded or not, the service tends to be quite slow, which can be frustrating at times.
Another downside is that Shere Punjab only accepts cash or card payments, which can be inconvenient for those who prefer other payment options. It would be beneficial for them to consider introducing alternative payment methods to enhance the overall customer experience.
One aspect that stands out positively is the restaurant's ambiance. The establishment boasts a spacious and beautiful area, complete with ample parking space. The overall setting adds to the dining experience and creates a pleasant atmosphere for celebrations and gatherings.
One minor drawback is the presence of a service fee. While this is a personal preference, I find it slightly off-putting to have an additional charge. It would be better if the pricing were more transparent, without any additional fees.
In conclusion, Shere Punjab offers great food and a superb ambiance, making it an excellent choice for family and group celebrations. However, improvements in service speed, payment options, and the presence of a service fee would enhance the overall dining experience. Despite these areas for improvement, I would still recommend Shere Punjab for its delicious food and beautiful surroundings.

Yesterday morning while returning from our trip we decided to have breakfast at Shere Punjab. We have been to this restaurant before and loved the experience back then, hence without any hesitation we chose this place. Little did we know, the fancier this establishment gets, the poorer its customer service is becoming.
The first thing we noticed is that they have made the bike parking area very small, only 4-5 bikes can be parked at a time and we had to park our bike on the street. As we entered the restaurant and ordered our food, we realised the judging eyes of the staffs on us. We hate wasting food, so since we weren't that hungry we decided to share one dosa and one mocktail together. We placed our order in less than 5 mins of entering and finished eating within 20-25 mins of serving the food. We asked for the bill right then and while my partner was paying for it I went to the washroom. They had only one washroom inside and had a queue of 4-5 people before me and my partner was waiting at the table for me to come back so that we could leave together. While I was coming back to our table from the washroom I heard a staff member asking my partner "Apnar bill payment hoye geche? Tahole table ta ebar charun please, lokjon dariye ache" For those who have been there, I was near the entrance and our table was at the far end, and I could hear his rude voice from there, which means many others at the restaurant were able to hear it as well. And we visited at a time when it was not crowded, the waiting persons he mentioned had also just entered not even a whole minute ago. Not only was it humiliating, but also pretty unreasonable considering we didn't even stay there for more than 40 mins and were already preparing to leave. If you don't even allow your customers that much time, then shouldn't you increase the number of washrooms so that there's no queue at least? The food was definitely good, but the way they insult their customers is really unacceptable.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the High Road Side Dhaba cum Hotel "Shere Panjab", and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded my expectations. Nestled along a scenic highway, this dhaba offers a delightful blend of rustic charm and delectable flavors that make it a must-stop for travelers.
There is always a rush so to enter and get a seat you have to wait for a while and on weekends the waiting time exceed which is also applicable on special occasions. But they offer a pretty good waiting space with sitting chairs.
Now, let's talk about the food – the true highlight of the High Road Side Dhaba. The menu boasted a wide range of options, from classic North Indian fare to local specialties. The dishes were prepared with just the right blend of spices, leaving me with a taste that lingered long after the meal. The starter item, chicken kabab, was so delicious. After completing the lunch I ordered their special lassi which was awesome and totally refreshing.
The service was impeccable – prompt and attentive without being intrusive. The staff members were more than happy to recommend dishe, adding a personal touch to the experience. But the service time was long. After completing the starter I had to wait long for main course. It may be because of the all time rush but they should work on it to reduce the waiting times.
In conclusion, the place is more than just a pit stop – it's a destination in itself. Whether you're on a road trip or simply looking for an authentic culinary adventure, this is a hidden gem.
