Discovered this place few months back. Had a bad impression about it since all the other Theque outlets are either simply bad, changed their names to other franchises or simply suck. But I was wrong about this one.

I visited this place a few weeks back. This was just when restros were reopening after "Unlock 5" and we were still paranoid to visit crowded places. But thank goodness, it was empty, safe and all cleaned up and ready to serve us. The diner is spacious with well-behaved staff. We ordered Chicken Kebabs, Chicken Lollipops for starters and loved them. No single complaints there. The prices were affordable too (₹140/- for 5) and chicken was tender. Then we had Cheese Chili Garlic Naan, Butter Naan, Mixed Fried Rice, Chicken Tikka Butter Masala and Chili Chicken. Again, no complaints with neither the quantity or the price. Only, the overall palatte of all the dishes were a tad bit on the sweeter side. I'm emphasizing on the price as in comparison with the other restros under the same genre, they were pretty within budget. Finally, we ordered a DMC/Hot Chocolate Brownie but sadly, it wasn't available. Instead, we ordered some overpriced Virgin Mojitos which weren't that extraordinary. The overall ambience was good with enough lighting for your pictures and cleanliness all around. Yeah, staff was very polite too. Parking was free. Booze is available too although we didn't order any that day and thus, I have no idea of the price.

Coming to the cons, few usual items like Classic Chicken Butter Masala, Garlic Naan, DMC weren't available. Not many dessert options too. The ambience could use some slow music. Service was a bit slow. And they charged us for 2 mineral water bottles where we only used 1 that was already there when we arrived. A few complimentary tidbits for only guests for that evening could have been a cherry to the cake but anyway. Finally, the large window glasses that overlooks the road and the city could really use some cleaning as that is one of the underrated selling point of that outlet.

Overall, I had a good experience in this restuarant of Asansol on a random weekend, and that's saying a lot, given that inspite of having plenty of food outlets in this town, hardly a few delivers that memorable quality of food at a reasonable price bracket. Would love to visit it again with my family someday soon and would recommend this to all...

Food is good but service is bad. On a Sunday night, only one/ two waiters were serving for 8-9 tables. Even Manager and a girl at the counter also helped with cleaning and giving Menu cards. Tap water was served in used plastic bottles of packaged water which is not hygienic. When the Manager was questioned, he said they have placed order for jugs and that they will be on tables in a few days. May be due to heavy rush and lack of manpower, when I ordered 2 butter Naans, I was served one with butter and one plain and charged for 2 butter Naans. Also they said they can't serve my selected mocktail as the mixologist was absent and had to adjust with Masala cold drink. The girl at the counter was very rude. She asked me whether I wanted bill even before I finished my food and wanted to order dessert. The girl didn't apologize for wrong billing and for returning wrong amount of balance. She needs little training in 'How to serve customers properly'. Overall the food is economical & not bad. Also the ambience is good. Hope the service...

Worst experience . Ordered a parcel of butter tikka chicken and after reaching home I found that it was some other dish and there were only two pieces of chicken by providing 170 Rs. I asked them previously they said it will contain 4 pieces . You have to wait 40 mins to get your food. Manager is confused about his items. Parcel charge is 15 RS, no matter what you order . Now yesterday again I tried to check whether previous incident was deliberately done or not. So I ordered same food with butter nun. This time butter tikka chicken contained 4 pieces , chili paneer 4 pieces for 150 rs . But now the problem is with butter nun. There were no butter on butter nun. It was plain and simple nun. But I had provided them 5 rs per nun extra for butter . This is the way they are cheating common people . Please don't go to theque Uno. save your money. Visit some other restaurant. Hope this...

Ambience is good, food is ok ,better than hutton road theque, but slow in serving foods and others stuffs.its just ok..but we had a memorable day there celebrating my gfs birthday.service quality should be improved.as i was going through some of the comments yes there are some staffs who are really rude at their behaviour and should be expelled to maintain a good atmosphere, but also there are staffs who may help you a lot ..I am giving it a four star just because the behavior of that staff ,but giving it four for the memory and some of their good staffs..

I had tried there sizzling Browny once that was stale. This time I tried there paneer pakora, it was fresh though very bland. I like their crispy baby corn. Coffee is also good though serving cups could have been better. Staffs are really nice but the service is really slow. The restaurant is neat and clean but lacks lively music. However one can give it a try once. It has a restroom.
