WOW China — Restaurant in West Bengal

I recently dined at Wow China in Barasat, Colony More area. Despite being on a busy street, parking for four-wheelers was a hassle. This Chinese restaurant is part of the renowned Wow Momo chain.

I tried their Darjeeling chicken Momo, and it was just standard, nothing remarkable. But what left a sour taste was their service. Waiting for over 25 minutes for an item, especially Momos, is simply unacceptable and uncomfortable.

I even spoke with another customer who was also waiting for his order. He had been there long before I arrived and hadn't received his food either. His frustration mirrored mine.

Had a good experience at Wow China! We tried the Darjeeling Chicken Steam Momo and Pan-Fried Chicken Momo with Cheese — both were absolutely delicious and freshly made. The flavors were rich and satisfying. We also finished off with Malai Kulfi, which was a perfect sweet touch to end the meal.

The restaurant has a good setup with ample seating for 20-30 people, making it ideal for small groups or casual outings. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive, which made our visit even more enjoyable.

The food quality is as standard as other outlets of this renowned chain. I tried their chicken meal at ₹199, quantity is more than enough for 1 person. This particular combo comprises of honey chilli potato, 1 cheesy chicken roll, choice of gravy with 3 pcs chicken, rice/noodles and kimchi.

The honey chilli potato was served cold and soggy so it wasn’t fresh, however upon complaining they replaced that particular starter. Needless to say the service is good too.
