Sri Swaminath Cafe — Restaurant in Zone 10 Kodambakkam

I know this place for more than 20 years. This hotel was, of course serving our area people in those days when the area itself was undeveloped. At that time the Hotel was so neat, clean and good. We all felt proud about its homely preparation! For breakfast, he used to serve Kumbakonam cuddappa - a special recipe - on every Saturday. After several years, it is now functioning just for its existence! The serving people are beyond our comment; the kitchen is unhygienic, mostly vadakkans are employed! the wash area smells bad. The floor cleaning is being done even while visitors are taking their food on table. The take away counter is mostly managed by cleaning ladies. They don’t pay GST and they don’t know what is GST 😂

AND TODAY I LOST 65 ₹ for 5 idlies after waiting more than an hour for the parcel. I didn’t take it at all. Enormous delay and they din't bother at all after my complaints also.

While interacting with the person who is sitting at cash counter dont know any thing about GST and simply replied, what ever want I need to contact his boss. But as per my knowledge he is the boss

A compact vegetarian hotel available in the chinmaya nagar(near 3rd main road) locality. Rates very reasonable.Taste homely. Food is served in banana leaves. Ambience neat to maximum. Service too prompt. Difficult to run an eatery without any issue at all. Take away card payment there. Parking for 10 bikes 2 or 3 cars ok. Lunch sales more than breakfast service.
