Food For Thought (FFT) - Food Court — Restaurant in Zone 13 Adyar

Well... Located above the more traditional Campus Cafe this food court caters to most of your dining needs from momos to mojitos. The space is ample and rarely at its full capacity with lots of parking spots available. A centralized AC would have been really good considering this place a tad bit costlier than other eateries inside IIT. The cellphone coverage is vary patchy but students can use the free Wi-Fi to over come that hurdle. This is especially important as some shops may not accept cash, and some doesn't accept card. But all of them accept some form of digital payment. The food itself is varied in quantity, quality and taste. My personal favorite is the Prems Gram Bhojan, franchise of the famous one in Adyar. They serve healthy millet dosa, idly, Pongal etc. There are mini tiffins and lunch as combo packs. Then there is the momo shop with all the varieties you can think of. Its tasty but might take a while as it cooks. Then there is the subway impersonator (forgot the name). I should say it's pretty good too. Then there is the Bachelor's restaurant which caters to your spicy palletes from Chettinad...and finally a juice shop which I am so not impressed with. So overall.. you can get almost anything for your gang here and it's spacious and neat. Definitely...

A small food court with few Indian and other cuisines available. Located on the first floor and has water dispenser and washroom facilities. Most shops accept payment through cash and paytm. Usually crowded during lunch hours on weekdays. At other times it is a peaceful place. There is a traditional vegetarian Tamil food stall that sells millet based items. The prices are slightly on the higher side but the flood is really good. There is a shop that serves Italian pasta. Then there is a Chinese joint that has momos and other Chinese combos. There is a non vegetarian chettinad food joint that has rice and roti combos. Then there is a juice stall that sells juices, shakes...

There are a range of kiosks serving both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food here. Take a walk from one end to the other to get an overview of what is on offer. Then make up your mind. There is a village mess which serves niche items based on millet. The Italian kiosk also serves tasty pasta, the ingredients of which you can mix and match. Payment is largely through PayTM.
