One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had when it comes to tiffins and snacks. The food served was stale, lacking freshness, and the flavors were not well-balanced at all. Even the simplest dishes, like a dosa, were poorly made. The dosa was soggy and lacked the crisp texture that one would expect. It’s surprising that a restaurant specializing in South Indian tiffins couldn’t manage something so basic. The chutneys and sambar, which are usually the highlight of a tiffin meal, were bland and uninspiring.

The food didn’t just taste bad; it also seemed to have been sitting out for a while, making it unappetizing and far from fresh. This really affects the overall dining experience, especially when the expectations are for light and flavorful snacks.

To add to the disappointment, the prices were exorbitant for what was being offered. The tiffin items and sweets were heavily overpriced, especially considering the quality and taste. I couldn’t help but feel that it wasn’t worth the money spent. The only saving grace was the polite and courteous behavior of the waitstaff. My friends and I recently went to a place and ordered a few items, including aloo parathas. The other items arrived, and we ate them, but the parathas never came. We waited for some time without any response, so we went to ask about our order. They told us it was over, and we were very disappointed—not because we didn't receive our food, but because they didn't inform us about the unavailability. They simply said, "It happens."

Another day, four of us went there for pav bhaji. Three pav bhajis came, and we thought the fourth one was on its way. We waited for a long time without any response, so we asked again, and they said it was over. How can they do this to us? They should have informed us beforehand. Food is good especially thattu idli and some of the staffs are friendly and helpful. Few other staffs are rude. But the ambience is poor because of the IIT crowd that are without any common sense or common manners. They are so soooo loud and behave so cheap and they don't seem to have any concept of public place, talking all kinda silly stories so loud making the restaurant noise polluted which makes you wonder how such literate idiots got into IIT in the first place 🙄😡. When we spoke to the management they also acknowledged this crowd doesn't behave well even when the management advises them on common manners.
