We were invited to a food tasting event, which meant we didn’t need to pay for our meal. It was a delightful opportunity to sample a five-course meal for free from a selected menu featuring their specialties.

Starters: For starters, we enjoyed the prawn cocktail salad, chicken Kandhari wings, and chicken in a blanket. All dishes were well-prepared and flavorful, and we liked them.

Main Course: For the main course, we had the pasta de caponata (in white sauce) and chicken Nasi Goreng. The pasta was good but could have been creamier. Unfortunately, the Nasi Goreng was a disappointment. It was served cold, and we received pappadam instead of prawn crackers, along with chicken 65 instead of satay. If this was intended as a fusion dish, it would have been helpful to mention that on the menu.

Beverages: We also tried two beverages: mangifera indica and a berry-based milkshake, which I can’t recall the name of. Both drinks tasted fantastic! However, the cut chiles immersed in the mangifera indica made it quite spicy over time. I suggest serving this drink without the chiles or only after the meal is completed.

Dessert: For dessert, we were offered Kunafa. It tasted good, but it felt a bit more bread-like than I expected.

The order of service could also be improved; we received the beverages first, then the main course, and only afterward were the starters served. Shortening the wait times and aligning the serving order would greatly enhance the dining experience.
