Thaqwa Biryani is a popular chain of biryani restaurants in Chennai, India. They have several locations throughout the city, including one near JB Nagar, Cholambedu. The restaurant is known for its generous portions and flavorful biryani.
The biryani at Thaqwa is made with basmati rice, meat, and spices. The meat is cooked in a dum pukht style, which means it is cooked in a sealed pot with steam. This results in a moist and flavorful biryani. The rice is also cooked perfectly and has a nice fluffy texture.
In addition to biryani, Thaqwa also serves a variety of other dishes, such as tandoori chicken, naan, and curries. The tandoori chicken is cooked in a clay oven and is juicy and flavorful. The naan is soft and fluffy, and the curries are well-seasoned.
The service at Thaqwa is friendly and efficient. The staff is always happy to help you choose the right dish and answer any questions you may have.
Overall, Thaqwa Biryani is a great place to enjoy a delicious and affordable meal. The biryani is the star of the show, but the other dishes are also worth trying. The service is friendly and efficient, and the prices are reasonable. If you're looking for a good biryani in Chennai, Thaqwa is a great option.

Read moreI ordered Chicken Briyani @ Midnight around 1'o clock on 11/12/2019
But I received spoiled Briyani (rotten) and I complaint to Swiggy regarding this and they said we are really sorry Sir we are just delivery partner and really feel sorry for what happened to you and we will give you 200 rupees coupon. I shouted to them I don't want your 200 I just need good quality food when ordered, then they said we will raise complaint against the Restaurant and you can also complaint in FSSAI.
But I am not happy with Swiggy response then I called to restaurant directly and they agreed about the food quality and accepted that "YES, WE KNOW THAT THE GIVEN BRIYANI WAS NOT GOOD & ROTTEN" then replaced with other food.
I really appreciate the person effort who tried to re-deliver the good food (second time) but at the first point they shouldn't have been delivered that rotten food to customer and too at that midnight time (shouldn't cheat when someone is in hungry).
If you don't have food we ordered no issues if you say "OUT OF STOCK" but don't provide bad quality or rotten food at any cost.
Just giving 1 star for the person effort who tried to re-deliver the food and also
0 star for the person who packed that rotten food...
