Read moreVery bitter experience, food is good, service is too poor and for posting reviews in google, we would get a free desert. That to mentioned in small board of each table. If they have trust in their service, no need to provide any complements to customers to get reviews. First we need to choose the dishes in entrance itself and need to pay it and provide the bill to waiter, they will serve it in our table. Instead of this we can follow self service. If you need some more dishes, they take order from our table and provide the bill before order gets on our table. We have placed order for coin parotta and gravy, at time of order, they didn’t say that, it will take time to prepare. It took around 20 minutes. We checked with their staffs, they said that it will take few more minutes. We asked them to cancel the order due to delay. They said cancellation is not possible, even if item is not ready. We ordered coffee instead of it and checked them that, it will served fast or it will take some time. He replied it will take just 2 minutes. It took more than 10 minutes, because he was discussing with manager for cancelling the bill. He came back to us and said, cancellation is not possible, can we pack it and give. We replied him that, we have canceled it before and ordered coffee, that too not served. Manger was humble, while serving the orders and provided some special chutney, but at this time of this issue, he didn’t come to us for any compromise. Finally we got frustrated and the waiter said, “you can leave sir, I need to pay this bill amount from my pocket”. Why he need pay, is management is that strict. I went manager and asked about it, he said cancellation is not possible. But we can manage you can leave sir. Finally I scanned google review QR code, too post the real incident. But manger said, it will not happen again. Management can look into it and change the following service pattern.
Provide a self service instead of collecting bill amount at entrance and serving it on table or provide a service on table and give bill at time of...
Read moreI recently visited Café Pramadham with a friend to try their Onam Sadya, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The ambience was far from pleasant, with no functioning air conditioning, making it unbearably hot. We were eagerly waiting to leave due to the uncomfortable atmosphere.
As for the food, it didn’t live up to the expectations. While the vegetable curries were decent, the rest of the meal lacked flavor and authenticity. There were two payasams served, and both were quite bad. The jackfruit payasam tasted watered down rather than made with milk, and the white payasam and boli, which are usually staples, were missing altogether.
The service was another major letdown. Initially, the waiters were attentive up to the point of serving sambar, but after that, they barely came near us. We had to keep asking what was being served next, and the staff didn’t even bother explaining the dishes to us. For a total bill of ₹1762 for two people, the food and service were definitely not worth the price.
I would not recommend Café Pramadham to anyone. Don’t be misled by the fake reviews you may see on YouTube.
Lastly, the hand wash area and the restroom were in terrible condition. After finishing the meal, going to wash our hands was an unpleasant experience—it was so bad that it made us...
