Came here on a Sunday morning, ordered Eggs Benedict and two coffee for dine-in. While putting my order, my friend looked at the barista preparing coffee, he noticed that the barista failed the espresso twice and had to throw it away. Hygiene is also lacking around the coffee making area.
Then my payment went through and I took a seat. But not long after, one staff came and said that my payment did not go through and that they want me to make payment again. I said to them that the amount has been deducted from my account and no cancellation. So they said, it’s more likely that the amount will bounce back to my account, and they insist to charge me once again. They took my name, phone number and bank account details saying that if they receive my payment twice, they will refund my money manually.
Food and coffee came, eggs benedict was standard good. Coffee was of course so bad, it’s burnt. But I decided to not complain and just never return for their coffee.
Two weeks went by, no one contacted me, no one refunded me, and I still havent received any bounce-back amount from failed transaction. I had to find time to go there and asked them, and the lady Areth, who seemed like she forgot to follow up on this case, but instead of apologising, she asked me back, whether I have called them up and remind them. I said I don’t even know any of you, and I wasnt even given any number. They should be the one taking the responsibility for the refund if there’s such case. I didn’t get any compensation or even a small gesture of apologies. Just a confused faces from the team there.
A very bad attitude, not a great service too, and I told them it’s a very unsatisfactory experience and I’m gonna write a bad review and they replied me “Okay” (btw I wasn’t even being rude to them)
And so this is a sad story where employee just won’t care about giving good service and earning good review from customers.
What a shame too, that I already know, what reply I’m gonna get here, which is an ignorant sentence of thanks for your review, we have brought your feedback to the team so we can improve in the future. Meh :-/
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Until they maybe hire a good professional barista, coffee is exceptionally bad. Service is bad too, not worth it because food and drink prices are quite expensive.

Lobster omelette: Overall very nice texture, omelette is well made and shaped. Flavours go very well together. The only thing is that the sauce is way too salty, might be due to the preserved lemon. 4.5/5 overall
Octopus salad: Nice crisp and fresh vegetables. Nice citrus slices, dressing is on the lighter side but its just right for me (especially for a breakfast menu), octopus cooked nicely. The only feedback for me is the octopus could do with a bit more char and spice but hey its a personal preference. 4.5/5 overall
Sausage:
All the components were actually really good. Nicely done sunny side up egg without raw whites. Sausage is really flavourful abit on the firmer side. Kale salad nice and fresh. Brioche toast nicely toasted outside and very buttery and soft inside. For me the sausage is a bit too smoky and might be good to have more fattier meats mixed in for a better texture. (As it is quite coarse and dry, but it kinda balance it out as theres a buttery brioche to go with it) The kale salad tasted nice, but theres a damp wet cloth after taste to it. Might be due to towel used for pat drying the kale or maybe its just me? 4/5 overall
Plain Croissant
Hands down one of the best croissant I've tasted in Indonesia. Very fluffy and flaky texture with a nice buttery inside, what more do you want from a croissant. The only downside is that for me it is abit on the toasted side, which makes it have a slight burnt taste. As well as some burnt end served on our plate. (Might be due to the scraps from the oven that got scraped on to our plate)

Nice robust outside and not to hard on the inside. Not too sour which some sourdough bread is. (I prefer it this way) Even for someone who doesn't really like sourdough, they did a very fine job

Read moreWe went here 2 weeks ago to dine in, me and my friends had a nice breakfast here, but after finished our breakfast, we decided to order something to go, one of the staff was rude (the guy with yellow hair), when he called my friend's name, and I took the food from him, he said in bahasa "dari tadi" In super rude way like snapping me, I was so speechless, since we all didn't hear he called my friend's name before, but I just ignore that poor attitude and no hurt feeling. Then while we were waiting for our driver, he called another guest by name that also had taken away orders, then it turned out the name was a little bit different than what was written by other staff, when he saw the staff that wrote her name, he directly yelled at the staff by saying "kalau tulis nama yang benar" With super bitter face and high tone.
I get it that you might be feeling overwhelmed and exhausted because The place was super busy, but seeing other staff handling all the situations with a really nice and warm attitude, I think you should learn from others how to work professionally, especially towards your customers and also coworkers in every situation, and some advice, if you want to correct your coworkers, make sure not in front of customers, you can take them to the side for a moment or saying politely, because your poor attitude can lead us to losing appetite especially guests coming there to have a nice breakfast or brunch to start the day.
After reading their bad reviews, the main problem of this place is the "rude staff" I know your place now is hype, but with a poor attitude from your staff towards customers, one day this place might be losing customers.
