Important at the beginning. I only ordered for delivery. I don't know how the place is inside and how is the ambiente.
But. To be honest. If I pay more than freaking 500.000IDR for food in Bali, I have quite high expectations.
My first order was.. OK. I gave it another chance and ordered again.
The pizza came in completely cold (I am not talking about not hot anymore. I mean really cold like coming from a fridge | @Resto: yeees. I know it came straight from a 400° oven. But did not arrived eatable here...). Also the pizza was completely wrapped to the side, half of it merged and some cheese was already coming out of the box. Did they stored it in a bookshelf?
Sure, the driver was part of the problem. But I don't care. If I pay 500k+ I want to have a nice meal. I can not describe properly how disappointed I am right now, sure pizza hut and domino's Will always be more successful, because they have standards and take at least a little bit care about the goods.
Also ordered soup. The Soup is good. Nothing special about it. You will get what you expect. Creamy Soup. The free included bread in my opinion was too hard. Usually ciabatta is more soft. Feels like it is from yesterday. But the priority was the Soup. So that's at least okay.
[EDIT]: Thank you for the reply. I have to add afterwards, that the restaurant tried to fix the problem and also explained to me via chat directly what could have caused the problem.
Furthermore they also offered me to send a pizza again, very good about the service and i want to metion it here (which i denied, because i already ordered somewhere else).
On top they told me about the option to order directly via whatsapp which would give me the bonus of 20% discount and better drivers (under that circumstances i will remove my never order again sentence and i will give it a try. 20% less would be a fair price for that food).
I can imagine that it feels unfair to get a review like that, but thats the only chance a customer have to give some weight to experiences (especially in Bali). But i sadly can not change my opinion about that order. I changed the general stars from 1 to 3 because of the friendly service via chat and because my wife said, the Soup was very good (i was about to go back to 2 when i ready the answer of the review, but my wife said i should ignore that xD)
About the offer with the CCTV footage: Sure i dont care, how that would change the pizza? How it would change the delivery? True, it would not. (To be honest. I dont have any problem if a pizza is not hot. I dont know what happened to it but it was really very cold. Not even light warm)
I definitely appreciate that you put so much effort into your ciabatta. But this piece of bread was like a stone. And if peope love it like it exactly was that day, then people dont know about ciabatta!
Also to say i prefer american pizza is wrong in this case in my opinion, as i highlighted to unproblematic orders and not the food. Also i did not complained about the pizza itself, only about the temperature, the condition (and the lack of cheese if i order 3x extra cheese).
You can name it italian even more times. But it wouldnt change a thing. My last Pizza in Italy a few month ago was a dream. Also the ciabatta. 100% not comparable to the slice of ciabatta we got to the soup.
In the end i still have to make something clear: Whether it's a third-party provider or not (ordering and delivery) doesn't really affect me (as a customer). If you are not happy with the third party part, it might be an advantage to consider another service provider.
I can only rate what arrived here and what I paid for it and I had to get rid of that (with the third party I can of course also rate the driver, which I definitely did). When it comes to food and restaurants, we are talking about a relatively cheap country. Therefore, my ratings for higher-priced dishes are stricter. If the exact same case had occurred in Italy or Germany, it probably wouldn't be nearly as critical. Because high prices for food are unfortunately...
Read moreDelivery order, The cheese bread is nice, Rice bowl not that nice, moreover the chicken is so weird. Edited: Saya sudah langganan disini “dine in or either take out”. Jumat malam staff saya beli pizza dengan extra topping artichoke and it’s amazing!
We just want that Friday night pizza (capricciosa with extra artichoke).
Read moreWe came for lunch. We saw all of the five star reviews, but those must have been at dinner time or with a different chef.
The Gorgonzola cream pasta itself was very good. We also ordered an omelette that was very good.
The low rating here relates to an item on the menu they describe as “Bites”. They are described as “crispy” and you have a choice of toppings ranging from spicy to honey mayonnaise to mozzarella cheese. We ordered the tempe/tofu mixed bites and the eggplant bites. There was nothing crispy about these whatsoever. They came out hot, but they were both soggy, both inside and out. Basically, if you’re running a restaurant, and you’re going to call something “crispy“, it’s a good idea if the items come out of the kitchen actually crispy.
As for service, each of the four dishes we ordered came out at different times. We never had one single dish on the table at the same time ready to be eaten. So I guess you have to eat in the order that they serve it. We were never asked how was our meal or we would’ve given that feedback directly.
If you go here it’s better to stick with the pasta dishes. I’m sure it’s a nice place, but maybe we went there...
