Semara Ratih Delodsema Village — Restaurant in Bali

After revisiting in December 2024, I’m updating my review. This place remains truly magnificent, nestled right in the jungle, where the only sounds you hear are those of nature.

However, I was a bit disappointed by the changes introduced by the new management, particularly in the menu. It’s hard to understand why anyone would travel to the heart of Bali’s stunning jungle to eat a club sandwich with fries or a chicken burger—meals you can easily find at the airport or a fast-food chain.

While they still offer most of the classic Asian dishes, these are now tucked away in smaller fonts on the later pages of the menu, with no accompanying pictures, making them less accessible. They’ve also added certain westernized touches, like chocolate tubes in the fried banana dessert, which feel out of place and detract from the authenticity.

That said, the staff, location, and overall atmosphere remain exceptional, and this is still a wonderful spot to experience Bali’s unique charm. I just hope they realign their menu to reflect the beauty and authenticity of their...

We order mujair nyat nyat is balinese traditional cuisine, its tasty and delicious come with white rice, and other condiments

They have a spacious parking lot Also not so many table available but I think they will improve it

Really bad experience today with local staff. Not only nobody speaks English and the quality of food was low, also their treatment of me as an ATM made me angry. When entering the village you need to pay 10k, I came he said it was no change from 50 k so he said " Pay later". So when I was eating he was following and waiting for me to finish the food Just to get this 10 k. I mean I was ready to pay on my way back, there was no need to follow me during the food and walking time and remind me about this stupid 10 k. So I didn't enjoy at all.
