The Cancala is a great place hidden away in North Canggu. Bapak Agus is very friendly and helps me when I try to speak Indonesian. It is a large space with lots of shade, a chilled out atmosphere and delicious breakfast. Absolute gem in the area. New restaurant on a beatiful place, great service and top class local dishes. We had a duck and a grilled fish and both were amazing.
Maybe one little recommendation - for us foreigners it is super helpful to have photos on the menu, or at least a little description of indonesian dishes in English. However I have no doubts one wouldn't go wrong with any of the dishes :) Wish...

The Cancala, this gorgeous cafe is nothing less than it's namesake, to be Shocking and Moving!
The food is full of flavor and at a very reasonable price, the staff are eager to help, and with the location set within the neighboring ricefields. Eating here is an awesome experience.
Some of their produce is even grown on-site!
