Waroeng Podjok GK — Restaurant in Bali

This place was a hidden gem. We wanted to check out Gunung Kawi temple however it was raining so we stumbled across this place by accident while waiting for the rain to pass.

It was a neat warung and the toilet was very clean and presentable. The staff were very nice and they put so much effort cooking the food and presenting it nicely.

Good food too. I recommend the Ginger mood booster which was a soothing drink with the flavours lingering after a few sips.

We stopped by for lunch and had an amazing meal. I ordered Nasi Goreng with an omelette on top — perfectly cooked, flavorful fried rice wrapped in a soft, fluffy egg. We also tried the chicken satay with rich peanut sauce, which was smoky, tender, and packed with flavor. Everything was served on banana leaves, adding a nice traditional touch.
