The name of restaurant is Waroeng Spesial Sambal from Yogyakarta. But, now in Bali there is also Waroeng Spesial Sambal and the first time it is opened in Batubulan Street, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency, it’s about 200 meters north side Candra Muka Batubulan Court or it’s about 30 minutes from Denpasar City. This restaurant is very unique because this restaurant sells many kinds of sambal like : sambal terasi segar, sambal jamur, sambal bajak etc. You can choose many sambals with different taste and level. Waroeng Spesial Sambal has 29 kinds of sambals. And the price of sambal in Waroeng Spesial Sambal is various from IDR 3000 until IDR 10.000. That is cheaper for Indonesian people.

Beside that Waroeng Spesial Sambal has 34 kinds of dishes and 34 kinds of sambal, 17 kinds of vegetable and 28 kinds of drink. There are fried chicken, fried fish, fried tofu, etc for the foods, eggplant vegetable, java plecing, lalapan, etc for the vegetables and lemon tea, orange juice, ice tea, etc for the drinks. Especially for the rice, in Waroeng Spesial Sambal you can eat the rice as you want. And you just pay one portion. It’s very amazing. If you want, you can visit Waroeng Spesial Sambal from 11 A.M – 10 P.M..

The facilities in Waroeng Spesial Sambal are washtub, toilet, and parking area. Those facilities are very clean and clear, so if you take a lunch and dinner here with your family or your couple, you will feel enjoyed and happy. Beside good facilities, Waroeng Spesial Sambal also has friendly staff. When you arrive in Waroeng Spesial Sambal, the staff will welcome you and saying “Good afternoon, welcome to Waroeng Spesial Sambal”. After that the staff will ask to you.”Would you like to seat Mr/s? this place or that place?” After you choose a table, the staff will escort you to the table, and the staff will give you menu list. If you want to know about something of food, the staff will tell you about that.

So, don’t wait! Let’s go to Waroeng Spesial Sambal. Let’s feel that sensation. Spesial Sambal… ‘So Hot By:...

First time going to this branch was not as bad a the second time. Food took way too long to come even though they have many staff working. My first time was with a friend, so I was distracted with our convo that we didn’t mind the food being too long to come, but the second time I was eating there alone. Ordered two glasses of water just for myself, they only gave one. This tells so much about the staff poor attention to details. The first time coming I didn’t have any problem with the water taste but the second time it taste like (this might sound weird) the smell of an old wardrobe— all I could think of was “is this tap water?” but even tap water shouldn’t have that taste nor smell. Anyway, food came and I finished it. Went home with stomach ache, my guess was the water. Someone’s babies were playing behind me and kept on touching my butt (by accident I think). It was the “lesehan” area and because of that I kept on moving my table forward little by little. The parent tried to tell the babies to not be too close to me but what can I say, they just wouldn’t listen. Anyway overall bad experience. The other branch I came to were just about the same when it comes to the time it takes for the food to come. My suggestion is if you’re really hungry or you’re with a big group or your date— don’t go there. You would want something nice and...

A Good Dining Spot, But Takeaway Needs Improvement

I recently visited SS Batubulan, and while the food was quite enjoyable, there was a noticeable difference in service speed between dining in and ordering takeaway. When eating in, the service was prompt, and the food arrived fresh and hot within a reasonable amount of time. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant—definitely a nice spot to sit down and enjoy a meal.

However, when I ordered for takeaway, the experience was quite different. Despite ordering the same dishes, the wait time for takeaway was significantly longer. What would take 15 minutes to be served at the table took over 30 minutes for a takeaway order, even during off-peak hours. This was a bit disappointing, as one would expect a quicker turnaround for takeaway, especially when not dining in.

While the quality of the food was still good, the longer waiting time for takeaway made the process less convenient than I’d hoped. I recommend dining in if you have the time; otherwise, be prepared for a longer wait if you’re ordering to-go.

Overall, a nice place for a sit-down meal, but the takeaway service could use some...

We went there for late lunch .. on the way back to sanur. Very crowded restaurant.. and quite hot inside. Although we sat by the window, it wasn't affecting .. they don't provide fans The waiting time for our food to be served was quite a long time although we ordered basic food Taste is average .. And you must ask to separate the Sambal from the serving to be on side to avoid you can't eat your meal for it would be too spicy .. Fortunately, some of us did it .. so we could enjoy the food .. Some of us didn't .. and they just eat a little of it, could bare the spicy hot taste .. ( and they normally eat spicy food with lot of sambals)
